Characters
Effinshia

The main protagonist of the E chapters. A female swordmaster with unknown origins accompanied by five sentient weapons that are just as unknown in origins as her. She doesn't really keep her past a secret but doesn't go out of her way to tell people about it. Very strong to the point that she is capable of defeating several calamity level monsters in a row with ease, her true power yet to be shown.

Despite her strength, she prefers a more thought out and tactical approach to fighting. Not afraid to use dirty tactics or taking advantage of the terrain or even taking advantage of the enemies emotional instability. In her mind, the brain always wins against brawn. Although, she doesn't lack in the brawn department herself.

Likes children and values freedom. Freedom of choice and freedom of movement. Her Age? Non Non Non! That's a woman's secret.

Ride A'bell

The main protagonist of the R chapters. Vanguard of the party 'Providence'. A budding adventurer whose current dream is to explore the world and to be an S rank adventurer. Brought up in an orphanage with Tyle, before one day he got 'removed' due to 'circumstances'. Ride, not wanting to live a life of crime to survive, went and hunted monsters with nothing but the clothes on his back. The adventurer's guild saw this and gave Ride a position in the adventurer's guild as an adventurer. He grew up to be an excellent adventurer. Along the way to adulthood, he seemed to have picked up a sword that he called his trusty sword which he had to, unfortunately, depart in A'bell during the monster invasion. Or did he?

Childhood Friends with Tyle, Kranis and Scorch. Honest and good nurtured, but is more driven by emotions rather than logic. Despite having some experience and being an all-around capable person, he still falls behind in the top ranks of the adventurer's guild. Clearly not the wisest person out there.

Age 18(as of chapter R1). Often hides his face when doing something embarrassing or gets embarrassed.

Tyle A'bell

Ride's childhood friend, the mage and spear user of the party 'Providence'. Grew up in the same orphanage as Ride before getting 'removed'. Unlike Ride, he managed to find tutelage under a librarian and worked under them for a while. He lived and worked in the library for a few years and learned how to use magic from there. The Librarian disappeared one day, so Tyle was forced to find another means of survival. The adventurer's guild.

He's smart but very strict and a bit stuck up. He does, however, care about his friends and oftentimes looks out for them, doing things that are in their interest. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside as Kranis would say.

Age 18(as of chapter R1). He thinks wearing glasses makes him look four times as cool than when he is not.

Kranis Ordinaire

The Rogue of the party 'Providence'. Met with Ride and Tyle in the streets of A'bell. He's been a street rat for as long as he could remember when one day he heard the tales of the greatest thief. Admiring the hero of the story, he signed up with the rogues guild. Playful, cocky, mischievous and tricky. He can sometimes be cold-hearted due to the unforgiving upbringing as a rogue.

Despite all that, he cares more about his friends than anything else. The greatest thief greatest lesson is that you don't sell out your friends. That there is a line you don't cross. Kranis aspires and lives by that quote.

Age 18(as of chapter R1). Likes to mindlessly flip a coin when there is nothing else to do.

Scorch Shatl

The tank of the party 'Providence'. Childhood friends with Ride, Tyle and Kranis. Used to travel with a group of adventurers who died protecting him from monsters. He lost his purpose in A'bell until he met the others in the streets of A'bell. After seeing how they choose to live their lives, Scorch decided that he will become an adventurer to honour those that fell before him.

A gentle and soft-spoken person, and has a very hearty laugh. Seemed to be very afraid of dying without accomplishing anything. Though his friends tell him not to worry too much about it.

Age 19(as of chapter R1). Is the best cook in the party hands-down, in the past, the present and even the future. Maybe when he retires he could become a chef?

Lanarya Lana

The side vanguard and sword user of the party 'Providence'. Currently the only female member in the party as well. Trained to be a great knight like her grandmother which has passed away very recently. Her grandmother last words to her is to always be happy and determined. Lanarya then became an adventurer to honour her late grandmother.

True to her grandmother's legacy, she is an energetic, happy and determined person. Very spunky and excitable but honest to a fault and naive. She also easy to provoke, easily getting angry when being insulted. Double when her friends are involved.

Despite all her naivety and strange actions, she is without a doubt a very competent person. Surprisingly so. In terms of swordsmanship, she is definitely better than ride but oftentimes loses as Ride is not afraid to use less honourable methods when fighting.

Age 17(as of chapter R2). "It's alright!" is the trademarked word that comes out of her mouth. Sometimes it's not Lanarya.

Mister Vrazen

Ride's benefactor. The first person to notice Ride's potential and is the person responsible for Ride's induction to the Adventurer's guild. This big burly man is the senior receptionist of the Adventurer's guild. Even receptionist of other countries looks up to him. Ride doesn't know how good he has it.

Guild Master(A'bell)

The guild master of A'bell. Nobody knows his name only that he is very old and is a powerful mage. He wears a robe with the Adventurer's guild logo on it.

Don't be fooled by his cheerful and jolly attitude, he is very much the guild master in A'bell. And for a good reason.

General Clauss

General of the army, Rydark's 2nd Aerial Division.

Khaleel

An S rank Adventurer that participated in the Raid to A'bell. He leads the 100 men full raid group during that assault. Titled 'Dragon's Sheild' for rumours of him beating up a dragon with his bare hands and using the body of the dragon to make his shield. He is the best defensive fighter in A'bell.

Shard

An A rank rogue that participated in the Raid to A'bell. Kranis's senior.

High Priestest Estna

An elven diplomat that Ride met in A'bell during the full raid on A'bell. The high priestess of Yggdrasil. Beautiful as if crafted by the hands of the gods themselves. A very powerful mage that is capable of using a grade six spell. Strong enough to fell a dragon and a monster lord.

A calm and very honourable person.

Shawna

An elven diplomat that Ride met in A'bell during the full raid on A'bell. Captain of the elven guards that protect High Priestess Estna. Beautiful as if crafted by the hands of the gods themselves. Very rude and thrash talks the adventurers around her. Seems to despise humans as they are a creature of lust. Captain of the elven guards that protect High Priestess Estna and assisted in Estna's spell during the raid in A'bell.

Ringo

A human child not more than the age of 8. Her smile is worth fighting for.

Ringo's Mom

The mother of Ringo who Effinshia helped during the invasion of A'bell

Ringo's Father

The father of Ringo who Effinshia helped during the invasion of A'bell

Items
Kirin

One of the five sentient weapons that travel with Effinshia. A plain-looking katana that is average to look at from every angle. Effinshia's glorified glowstick and her most reliable weapon. Kirin doesn't talk much like the rest of the weapons.

Can oftentimes get grumpy and annoyed when used carelessly by Effinshia.

Justicar

One of the five sentient weapons that travel with Effinshia. Ride described it as a wand that is made of metal and has a long tube connected to the body of the equipment. According to Effinshia, Justicar is strong enough to take down a dragon in 'one shot', but refrains from using Justicar as it is a weapon that she doesn't like to use willy nilly and that using Justicar poses a 'dire consequence' to her. Causes the least problem among the five weapons, or rather does not cause any problem at all, very kind.

Effinshia's second most reliable weapon. Like the others, Justicar does not communicate much. Although, It can somehow relay its feelings to Effinshia.

Torarias

One of the five sentient weapons that travel with Effinshia. A shapeshifting weapon that can transform itself into many shapes. Torarias can transform into a flying creature which it can carry Effinshia to many different places very fast. The only problem is that Torarias is a very proud weapon and doesn't like taking orders from Effinshia. The duo of troubles alongside Armageddon.

Effinshia's second least reliable weapon. Like the others, Torarias prefers to not talk. However, Torarias can, in fact, speak, often in a disembodied 'Shaa!'. Hates water with a passion.

The difference between Torarias and Armageddon? Why one is offensive the other is defensive of course!

Armageddon

One of the five sentient weapons that travel with Effinshia. A shapeshifting shield that can transform itself into many things. Armageddon can transform into a super hard carapace that carries the iron body and super armour trait that prevents attacks from getting through and neutralising kinetic energy. The only problem is that Armageddon is a very willful weapon and does things on her own without listening to Effinshia. The duo of troubles alongside Torarias.

Effinshia's third most reliable weapon. Like the others, Armageddon does not talk. It can, but often in a disembodied 'Hiss!'. Hates water with a passion.

The difference between Armageddon and Torarias? Why one is defensive the other is offensive of course!

Stopwatch

One of the five sentient weapons that travel with Effinshia. It is unknown what is its true powers are. Just that Effinshia calls it on par with Justicar in terms of power. Also acts as a watch that helps Effinshia keeps track of the time. Stopwatch hates everyone, including Effinshia. It blasts anyone that dare look at it with a sinister energy that causes people to feel dizzy and have severe headaches. If Armageddon and Torarias is the duo of troubles, then Stopwatch is the queen of troubles.

Effinshia's least reliable weapon. Absolutely refusing to assist her at all unless really needed. Like the others, Stopwatch does not talk and does not even bother to communicate with Effinshia.

A'bell

The country of Rydark. Borders the omega sea. Mainly populated by humans, although you can see the occasional beastkin and demihumans walking around here and there.

Notable places within this country: A'bell, Cezza, Luth E'll, Makaran, Lachite.

The Omega Sea

The Omega Sea, named after the Supreme who lives in it. The Harbinger of the End and their ark.

Yggdrasil

The country of the Elves. A large forest in the middle of the continent. In the middle of it is a large tree, the supreme of the elves. Yggdra.

it is said that the whole forest is actually just one tree.

Miscellaneous
Neutralising Potion

A potion that neutralised odour. used by Effinshia during the raid in A'bell to prevent scent-based monsters from sniffing her out.

Ointment

The ointment and staple of adventuring. Cures light wounds really fast. No adventurer is seen on a long journey without one of these!

Penicilin

A magical drug that stops the spread of infections. Effinshia seems to know the true nature of this drug. Science-based mould she called it.

Panacea

Magical drug that stops and cures all sorts of infections and status effects inflicted by magic. It is magical in nature and extremely rare.
