Lena married the Emperor of Krov when she was sixteen, with the dream of becoming the Empress of the Empire of Krov, and one who would hold power over her own future.

The marriage turned her dream into a nightmare. Assassins. Poison. Greed. And an Emperor who did not care if she was alive, or dead. All things she had to deal with since put in place as the Empress.

Her son was cursed from birth. A god she's never heard of has given her a ray of hope, but she does not know that she has a hidden history with this god.

A fool's curse is a simple matter to solve, but the price is high, as the solution is a sacrifice of a female blood relation. How much of her body is she willing to sacrifice to save the life of the only son of the Emperor?
