I look at the mountain of paperwork before me. I'm overworked. Slowly, my eyes fall shut. I'm so tired of this...
A loud 'bang' caused by dropping off another pile of paperwork made me bolt upright. My maid stands before, scorn in her eyes. Annoyed, I wave her away—this is not the first time that that has happened. And she is not the only one who does that.
'Hated by my own people,' I sigh internally and rub my temples. This is not what my 'freedom' was supposed to look like. My eyes hover over the ring on my finger.
I tried, you know? Right now, I only want everything to stop. Maybe read some books, eat something delicious, and nap as often as I want to.
Wait...I am the matriarch! Hell, I can do whatever I want!
Books? I can pocket whole libraries in my domain.
Food? Also, in my domain.
Naps? Well, there are many cuddly nooks in there.
Sooo...my domain has everything I need—dunno why I never thought of this before. All that's left is to relocate its entrance to another totally secret place. How about that hidden forest temple? Yes, let's go with this!
Goodbye obligations, goodbye people who always want to take over, goodbye enemies, and at last, good riddance to the council that tries to marry me off to one of these fat ugly narcissistic nobles.
Uhh, I just hope nothing will go wrong during my long-term absence. Nahhh, nothing will happen at all; I am totally sure of it...probably.

Holy f**king sh*t this is amazing!!I
LOVE evil protagonists as they are by far the most enjoyable kind of protagonists to read. This story has so much potential that It's almost overflowing. I really f**king enjoyed this story and really want to see where it goes. I do hope the MC actually stays evil. I haven't been this absorbed by a story in a while. I am honestly looking forward to more of this novel and really really want more.
I'm a bit apprehensive about what undoing the seals will do to her and romance at the MC's power level most of the time only leads to one thing.
I do hope she destroys humanity. Far too many evil mc's that try to end humanity end up as love-starved losers that can only function with their significant others (maybe a protagonist will finally destroy humanity ( (i've never seen it happen before tbh maybe this will be the one)))

A very detailed and well-written story, I can tell the author planned everything out from the start and it makes it a very interesting read.
The only issue was large info dumps in the early chapters and long paragraphs.
Other than that it's a 10/10 story, highly recommend it! :D

This is an amazing book so far. I have read up to the latest chapter (32) and I haven’t been disappointed so far.
While the idea and picture of the MC is a bit blurry at times. Unexplained. She is still a very amazing character and has lots and lots of power, potential, and humor even if she’s more put out at a villainous type.
I like the world building, going from a time before most modern civilizations were established well enough. To a later time where most things technology based are being discovered.
Overall a nice read so far and I haven’t really seen anything bad about it yet other than character type descriptions.

I’m not finding this work realistic enough. There is so much fantasy crammed inside with any one aspect not defined enough for the concept to matter. This is the primary motivation of the main actor, protagonist, to get more ingredients, make sure she’s not forgotten, and to not care about anything else. There are indeed a lot of actors that have been introduced and each one seems to have some significance but only just that. In the face of what the main actor believes nearly everyone else is insignificant and that overlaps with whatever justification comes of them. Really there isn’t drama because there’s no back-and-forth dialog between main characters. It’s one-sided where the protagonist is the strongest and will always win any argument. To me, so far, the concept of an arc is redundant. There is a sharp rise, an apex, and a descent to a baseline that I don’t see even though arc 0 is nearing its end. The main protagonists baseline hasn’t changed, her beliefs haven’t changed and in terms of movement she’s started the founding of a sinister gathering but still without aim other then gathering ingredients, probably. What I really dislike is the labeling, or rather unknown labeling, of narrative that isn’t sourced or defined. Actors appear in the narrative without nearly enough context and it’s an ordeal to wrap around whose perspective it’s from and why it matters. Sorry for such criticism but thus far that’s my impression and by giving criticism to hopefully promote a better. I’m just one reader I may not be the target audience of this work.
