Years ago, Earth was indoctrinated into the "System."
Earth was not the only place with the System, however. With the System came the other races, Invaders. The Invaders had one goal, to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. This created a bloodbath, and for years the war raged.
This didn't really have much to do with Derek. Derek was kind of a loner. Yeah, he enjoyed the occasional chat or drink with others, but he never stayed in one place too long or really got to know anybody new.
Derek did happen to be rather strong. After the years of fighting monster and Invaders alone, he had become quite adept at surviving. One thing that helped keep him alive was his refusal to get involved with others. He rarely cooperated with teams.
One day, Derek broke his rules and decided to lend some help, as the mission didn't seem too hard. He should have stuck to being alone.

Hey everyone, this is my fiction, "System Change." It's the first time I've really tried to write a serial. All feedback is really appreciated.
After thinking long and hard about it, I decided to also post my story here on Scribblehub! I will be posting around 2-3 a day, every weekday, until I am caught up with the progress on the other platform. After that, you can expect to see 2 chapters a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I try to keep the word count between 1500-2500, there have been a couple times I have went over. The average word count per chapter is 1850 or so.
I really hope you all enjoy the story. I am still in the process of editing the first dozen or so chapters, as my writing has changed (for the better) since I started writing.

TLDR: Well written. Any changes or decisions made by characters are fully logical and natural from their point of view. (Except maybe the king. But we don't know a lot about him.) The world is consistent and at least somewhat well thought out.
Backstory: Earth experiences an apokalypse when a "system" invades. Monsters, other races and empires. You probably know the drill. Protagonist was a loner. Not sure of the details, but it seems he is the last of his family alive. This doesn't change with the addition of the system. He has great success as a loner, and within earth's trial-period of 10 years, he reaches beyond level 75.
Chapter 1 shenanigans happen, and our protagonist finds himself in limbo. Complete sensory deprivation. Complete isolation. Because of timywimy, he experiences decades if not centuries of this. Only thing keeping him alive is his meditation, and talking to his favorite weapon.
Protagonist gets a "break" (hehe), and appears on a new world with a different system. He restarts as level one, but with all his stats and bonuses from being 75+.
The fact that he is not a raving lunatic from spending so much time in isolation, let alone sensory deprivation, is amazing. So he plans to make some changes, and enjoy life. And as an OP character in this new world, he can damn well do as he pleases. He literally cries as he sees the first human. He pets and plays with a low level wild wolf, as it tries to kill him. Simply to satiate his need for touch. This is a broken man, rebuilding himself and his life on a new world.
Expect part adventure, part slice of life, as deeper plots begin to unfold. Everything has a surface, and a deeper layer the author only sometimes lifts the veil of.
Expect a world that is alive. NPCs have their own lives and are not mindless drones. Consequences butterfly out into the world. And people in power keep informed.
