A refined, good novel.
I see very few shortcomings regarding grammar, flow, characters, time skips, progression and story.
Many novels have a glaring flaw in one or more of these aspects, and as such feel very amateurish, but I can not pinpoint any in this one.
The main thing that truly stands out about this novel is the protagonist. His complete rejection of magic in a magic dominated world might take the novel into a very unique, unknown and mysterious direction, and by chapter 4 the gears have already started to turn.
Recommended for those who enjoy well refined novels with an outlandish protagonist that pulls the story into an unexpected direction.
