Concept is good I say the story is also good  

but the problem lies in narration it's like reading a event log book with minimal context just enough to know what happened in each event,

world building is average at best as there is nothing other than these event log to get to know the new world,

people are too nice and cooperative which is not even possible even today between two friendly nation and  

character development is almost non existent (it's just a event log what do you expect)

Still I want to give it a 3 star rating to encourage the write to take this event log and make it into a proper fantasy story

Summoning America is a fanfiction of Nihonkoku Shoukan (Summoning Japan) by Minorou. The story follows the United States of America, who is instead summoned to the New World instead of Japan.

The way America is potrayed in this fanfiction is executed very well and is rather believable for Earth's only superpower. As the strongest nation on Earth, I can see how America would be more assertive over the nations of the New World. Additionally, the other nations, especially the villains of each arc, are potrayed in a more sensible manner that makes them much smarter in decision-making, in contrast to the cartoonishly evil antagonists of the original.

Summoning America also diverges greatly from the original, creating a 2nd arc that differs slightly and a 3rd arc that differs immensely from the original. Thus, creating a story that innovates from its source material.

While it isn't a perfect story, Summoning America is an overall great fanfiction. It is definitely something I recommend reading for those who haven't yet.

It has a more in-depth look at the summoned charcters and how they go about daily life in the new world. Rather than focusing on all the schemings in the new world making America more alive in this story than the original japan. Also, the Americans prefer gunboat diplomacy instead of waiting and letting a lot of people die and they also do their own scheming behind the scenes. It's really well written in my opinion better than the original where I watch as they did nothing and even lack information about their enemy. In an age where information is war's most valued asset leading to countries fall or characters to die who could have added more to the story. All in all a good novel highly recommend it

I've been reading this for a while and I think I should finally give it a review.

It's astoundingly good.

Even though this is a fanfiction of Summoning Japan, it's written so much better and feels significantly more believable than the original work. I've never found myself thinking "God that is so stupid, " or "Why the hell did they do that?" while reading SA.

The plot is unique and different from NHS, which is a rarity among most fanfics, and seeing enemy leaders thinking like actual, rational, intelligent people is cathartic. They obviously don't know the U.S.'s full potential, but adapt with whatever resources they can.

I do have a couple gripes every now and again, such as

Great fanfiction of Summoning Japan. Excellent fiction as a stand-alone story. It lacks a central character, instead following various cast members as they show up, drop out, and reappear throughout a series of (almost always) chronologically-ordered chapters.

If there's any shortcoming to be found, it's how the antagonists always seem to follow the same mindset: "What? Admiral SoAndSo said the Americans did what? Inconceivable!"

Americans: "Hold my beer."

Then again, half the fun is waiting for that inevitable comuppance.
