My name is Tim, or it was until I died. There was no light at the end of the tunnel, no white room to choose any cheats from, nor was there any meeting with God.
I didn’t die heroically while saving someone, and I certainly didn’t get hit by a truck. My death was rather stupid and anticlimactic, I had apparently bumped my head while sleeping and passed away...
That should have been the end of the road for me, but like many self-proclaimed main characters, I joined the army of multi-dimensional travelers and was reincarnated.
Being an avid light novel and manga reader, I would have been excited about the opportunity, if not for my new siblings, who tried to kill me as soon as I was born, or for my mother, who seemed to have a thing for throwing me off cliffs. And let’s not forget my murderous father, who forced me to flatten a small country as my Rite of passage.
Oh, did I mention I was reborn as a Dragon?

This is the first novel I found where MC is dragon and he is behaving like dragon!! So far dragon MC always want to be with humans, and behaved like one but not the MC from this novel.
So If someone wants to read story where MC is full dragon I recomend this novel.
The plot is also interesting.
The only thing I miss in the later chapters is world building notes, the same as in the first chapters.

The story is very well written, the characters are fantastic and unique, the explanations and descriptions are clear and easy to understand, and the world itself is obviously thought through with care. I am really enjoying reading this novel and I recommend it 100%.
Thank you for your amazing work! I am eager for more updates!

Very good story it's it's more of a slice of ligne/adventure story as a dragon and some action though it could change seeing the end of this chapter and while we Can see that the author is still inexperienced I think he will better himself as the story continue.
the characters are interesting and likable and we can see them develop though less than the MC who is really questionning both himself and his world
Most of the problems in the story come from the writing style that still need improvement as I said so I'm looking forward to the author's progress as the Book is very interesting right now
Sorry for the language I'm not anglophone

I was loving the initial book, but suddenly it shows Dragon killing humans like ants. This is same mindset most evil people on earth - Mao, Hitler used to kill millions. I would suggest that author & others who liked this story should check a doctor.

Not bad, but after 106 chapters it doesn't seem to go anywhere. It feels way to much like slice-of-life for my liking. There is some, but not very much, in the way of world building, most of it kind of boring. What saves the story is the fact that the protagonist isn't held back by his old human feelings or morals, he goes pretty much full dragon just a few chapters in.

Very original story about a reborn dragon growing up
While not not being flawless in writing (which I actually don't mind much), the story is very enjoyable and advances in a slow but steady fashion, where we discover an unknown world of magic, monsters and gods with the protagonist.

I didn't expect to like this novel as much as I do!
It's my first time reading a story with a non-human protagonist, I love it! I love the pace, it doesn't get boring at all. I have the bad habit of dropping novels whenever I feel like nothing is happening but I actually binged it up to this chapter, my gawd, I gotta turn in an assignment tomorrow T.T send help.
The main character actually acts like a dragon, not in a bad way tho, the dragons in this story are smart and strong beings, each of them having their own personality, so it's just like reading a story with human protagonists... just that they aren't human at all lol. I also love the bond he shares with his family and especially with his siblings, so cute.
The writing style is easy to read and the author doesn't use unnecessary words to describe stuff or repeat things. I hate it when authors repeat things over and over again, FOR WHAT HUH, just interrupts the flow of the story smh. Oh yeah, and the author seems super nice too, gl to you author and thank you for this story :) (even tho I'll die tomorrow since I gotta finish this crappy assignment, I know that I'm the one to blame tho, wheeee T.T)

I remember reading this story. It starts out average, but quickly drops to below average story wise. The MC is also annoying and there is no improvement in his personality. Western MC, full of self doubt and cringe. It is as if the author knows how make his story good, but he can't explain why the events and actions taken so far are the correct ones. XD
For example the dragons of this story are actual dragons, not cringe western liberals dressed up as dragons. But the author struggles to "justify" the actions dragons take and has a lot of chapers just about the MC being "conflicted" and "guilty" about his actions. The real way to write this would be to just not try to rationalize those things through the lenses of morality. The only way something can be injustice or immoral on the level of dragons is when an action is pointless. There is no injustice if an action has a benefit or formal justification. Even just killing all those humans in revenge for the dead dragons is justifyable because this will result in future humans thinking twice before they try something like that again. The MC using the situation to teach humans makes all of his prior actions not just justified but even necessary. It was necessary for the MC to destroy a human country to force the rest of humanity into compliance.

This has by far been one of the most influential and lasting viewpoint on how a ‘reincarnated as a dragon’ story should go.
The story doesn’t move too fast or too slow, it has plenty of world building aspects to it. And while I am sad the the pre-chapter quotes from around the world stopped around chapter twenty or so it was cool to see the dedication the author has to keep those in.
I love the main characters and the fact that there is little to be left out when trying to understand the thought process of the MC and the characters (family) around the MC.
Would definitely recommend, and I hope you finish well and strong.

Not far enough to the story to justify lower score than that. But the first and second chapters are worlds apart in tone and style. And the first person view from chapter 2-5 lack the......, I can't put into words. Realism? Story flow?
