Asper had always seen how unfair fantasy worlds were. Many powers and abilities were locked behind a trait or talent at birth.
They were inaccessible no matter how hard one worked or what they did if they weren't born with them, and so, while understanding that that was just how it worked, he wished that if he were to ever live in one such world, those limits would not constrain him.
Fate works in mysterious ways, such that on one warm dusk on a midsummer's day, he'd have to see that wish to the end. Though, it wouldn't hurt to indulge himself a little, now would it?
(Reader beware, this is very much an outlet for my personal "interests". I have no writing experience, this is my first time attempting anything. It will probably be updated very infrequently, although I will try to write at least one chapter a week.)
Cover currently doesn't have much to do with the novel, but there will most likely be a character introduced in the future resembling her, and I thought her expression worked well.
(The art does not belong to me, if you are the original owner/creator of the work and would like me to change it, message me and I will.)
