I liked it a lot. Binge read all of it late at night.
Setting is interesting, though never mentioned a lot of big issues that would obviously happen. I understand that it wouldn't be important to the story the author is trying to tell though.

One thing I didn't like how the story went was regarding the reasons Ria thought Not James was a girl, like the video game characters and whatnot. I thought it would be handled as if it were Ria reading far too into things, but even the other girl at the lgbtq meetup just went yup I'm convinced. Myself and a lot of other guys would have and do the same things that Ria thought a girl would do, but I seriously doubt we're all girls and just don't know it yet.
Yikes nearly spoiled a bunch of stuff.
I am being kind of critical, but I thought it needed written reviews because I think this is a worthwhile story to read.

A freaking great but short story. The end feels rushed but loose end are tied and and emotion are sated.
The story tells a world suddenly brimming with soulmate. In a microcosm there's our disastrous MC and their new found soulmate. Watch as God fated lover struggle with how to truly help each other when gender and orientation clash.
While the premise is and could pop out many intriguing question the story keep a focus on emotional journey of the main character in a light and comedic way.
