Wanting to be something, you feel you can't be in reality. Taylor (MC) fits that bill.
Never feeling comfortable on his own skin he wanted to be beautiful. He wanted to be desired. He wanted to be a goddess pretty much.
Now here is whats great about about this being a trap/trans story. Taylor has had relations with men, but never admitted to being gay, his only desire is to be beautiful. That same desire actually trumped buying good armor and weapons in favor of looking more like a woman. Taylor has no conflict with his s*xuality, just his s*x and that's a great running theme BECAUSE... this little femme Fatale can wrap men around his tiny flat (chest) -trap fingers, but becomes submissive to a woman that doesn't fall for his bullsh*t. Its a great power-tug-o-war and a true live in fantasy of trying to get what you desire.
As of chapter 8, there is no complicated plot, no political intrigue, just people trying to living dream like lives in a new world.
If you are sensitive about relationship labels then please leave the author the f**k alone, this is about a person wanting to make THEMSELF happy, not get married (yet)
