He is the creator of spirit stones, has his own base that will be absorbed into Song Yu's. Very kind, intelligent and trusts people easily (due to his sixth sense).

A fiery and temperamental powerhouse. She was an office worker before the zombie apocalypse, so understands the ins and outs of office politics. Became a leader after being betrayed by co-workers and is a general under Lan Zhou's squadron.

In his previous life, he didn't like Song Yu because of his weakness as a Base leader. Over time, his hatred cooled into stoic disassociation. He was there when Song Yu died, but only as a bystander watching.
In the new life, he is a base leader of his own, who takes over the base for Song Yu and Lan Zhou when they decide to go into isolation.
Marble-like stones that are made of abilities condensed together. Only active abilities like fire, water, earth, air, and active variants can make these stones. Passive abilities like healing, space and purity cannot be condensed.
Each stone varies in power, as the person who makes them has to infuse an emotional response. Hatred and fear can be powerful, yet love and protection has a higher overall effect on the spiritual stones output.
Levels also play a role in this aspect, as a Level 10 can make one faster and infuse more ability whereas a Level 4 will take longer.
These stones can be bought and sold as currency.
Levels are similar to video games where they rank people into different categories. At the start of the apocalypse, people were ranked at Level 0-1 depending on how you can control your ability.
The more you can control your ability, and the more variant your abilities become, the higher your level goes. It cannot be measured by humans, but by yourself as you get inklings every time you level up.
So far, the highest ability is Level A to which only two people are.
Variant abilities are people who have active/passive abilities that change from its original ability to a specialized one. In the beginning, people would only have mains (fire, water, earth, air, space, heal, lightning, etc;) that transforms when a persons potential reaches a certain level in a situation.
Example: Lan Zhou is a fire ability user, but his variant is cold blue flames that have a higher temperature than red flames. This variant occurred when he needed to melt something and his brain response to the situation, leveled up his ability and granted his wish.
Variants only happen to people who have the potential to reach Level 10 or higher.

Nothing to critique except some small inconsistencies spanning a few chapters but those can simply be proofread after the novel finishes. All characters have backstories, no one is unimportant as everyone has a role as they survive together in such an unforgiving world. Enemies and allies make clear cuts. And as they say, "no good deed goes unpunished". MC is an angel that most people don't deserve, but need.

First time making a review on a novel online, but this is like just so good. I'll be a cow, horse, or any domesticated animal when I reincarnate on the next life, so I can repay the author for posting their novel online.
The main character, Song Yu, worshipping this man to heavens. I am simply worshipping this man's character, and the author's writing to create such a lovable strong sweety. I also like Lan Zhou, the main lead, he's so in love with Song Yu, but he's still sensable while being in love. Both Song Yu and Lan Zhou are really my likes, rating them to hell and heaven with cutesy fillings that has muscles.
To be frank, I've read a lot of apocalypse BL novels, and compared to those, I like this more, so like hella looking forward to the life of our neet and his husband (also along with their friends).
Luv author so much <3333, please have my soul. This is one of my fav now, and it really tops for me. Compared to most wn I've read that are of the same genre, I'm looking forward to the future releases. Waiting is so worth it for this. Author's writing makes this novel such a fun read.

I usually don't read ongoing stories but I decided to give Chapter 1 a try and it was enough to get me hooked. It's a wonderfully well written apocalypse themed novel. The motivations of each of the characters are laid out clearly, you actually know where it's coming from and not just a plot device to move the story foward.
Both the MC and ML are on the powerful side and understandably so, and yet they do not come off as an overpowered mary sue. The side characters are well fleshed out and I am definitely looking forward in seeing more of the side couple/s.

If you are going to warn people why not do it early??? Atleast some would build shelters and stock up... ans if he has predicted the heat wave and meteor ppl might take his warning about zombies seriously... maybe they would even reenact armageddon/ Doomsday and destroy the meteor in space

It's a really good apocalyptic story! The phase and progress is good that I hope author please continue the quality and don't be like other apocalyptic stories that goes down hill after the climax up to the end. TvT
Everyone is endearing and fun characters with their own personality. Plus they do what they actually meant, like seclusion and just living on their own base away from corrupt bases.

Honestly, this book captivated me by the 1st chapter. I am just so in love with this book, the characters really brought this book to life for me. It was interesting and fast going, which really kept my interest in the plot. I loved the internal struggle these characters face, and the battle scenes were just so interesting.
I can't wait for the author to finish it so I could read it all over again.
100% recommend for people looking for a fast-paced, bl, zombie apocalypse, with slight angst novel!!

I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS NOVEL!! The richness of the plot is so good, the characters are captivating, everything is so meticulously done that my only complaint is the author's delay in updating (obviously I understand the personal side of the author, but as a diehard fan I need more updates to calm my heart). The only advice I give to people who think about reading but are a little afraid, READ IT!! The main couple is incredibly cute and well developed like all the characters and the cool thing about this novel is that you have the opportunity to read the points of view of each character, whether main or secondary.
