When first reading this novel, it may come off as another typical story in which the main character finds himself mysteriously back into the past, when he was still in high school. But you shortly learn a few chapters in that he and his circumstances are so much more than that. As he tries to pursue an ordinary, peaceful life (and fails), he becomes much more involved with the people who barge into his daily life as he learns more about love and happiness. It came across very well as I read through the chapters.

The only fault I could find with this novel is the fact that the world building of the city could use a little bit more detail. There were times where I thought that I wanted to know more about the locations that the characters spend some time in, but was left alone with my curiousity.

This is a slice-of-life novel with the tiny sprinkles of the abnormal and fantasy done VERY well. KiraMinoru managed to created a living breathing world with characters that each have their own personalities, thoughts, values, and even actions. The best parts within this novel are the thoughts and interactions between said characters; these are what make the novel a masterpiece for me. This is very much apparent even when you just read the first chapter. I congratulate KiraMinoru on creating a fantastic cast of characters with incredible chemistry that numerous other novels (particularly harem novels) fail to establish. I congratulate KiraMinoru on creating a masterpiece series!

TL;DR: Pick this novel up and try it, you'll come to daily life of these unique, yet wonderful characters!

If you're wondering if you should read it or not, I think you should give this a try. Once upon a time, it topped the charts of popularity, so reading at least the first volume  should be a good experience for all people.

The story has it's fair share of moments, exciting ones and emotional ones, funny ones and appalling ones, some that break hearts and some that make days (and some that make you question the descisions and actions of the MC and curse at him...)

It's not all about snu-snu, it's not all about romance, it's more of a slice of life than supernatural story, about a guy finding a second chance at life, experiencing new things and growing. 

What drew me in could be different from your own interests, but I would whole-heartedly recommend this.

I just can't do it anymore.

 I absolutely loved this book until about chapter 150ish. At this point however the story sadly slowly just kept bogging you down further and further until you literally just can't stand the MC anymore. I mean the guy is literally progressively getting worse and I'm sorry but I truly can't stand it anymore. I mean the guy was at least assertive and somewhat athletic even if a bit low on the stamina department due to nutrition issues in the beginning of the story. Unfortunately now the guy is constantly getting dragged around all over the place, can't tell even the person he literally says he despises no, and can't even break out of some strangers hold while wandering around a mall for whatever stupid reason comes to mind at that time. I'm sorry but I'm dropping this series since I even went ahead and cheated only to find the the MC hasn't gotten any better even after 300 chapters. 

  However, I must still give this story a high rating because the author truly does put a ton of effort into this story. There are no spelling issues, grammatical errors, or even any issues with punctuation from what I have seen. The author even goes as far as to go into depth on how things actually workout in a real world scenario. Examples of this is makeing up a spread sheet to make sure things work out on taxes and showing that you can actually get the police involved in criminal activities rather than acting like an idiot and acting like a vigilanty or ignoring the issue until it festers into a complete mess that is no longer able to be salvaged.

  All in all I give this story four out of five stars but sincerely wish the MC could at least progress as a person at least partially as the story goes on rather than digress like he is shown to have done.

Binge-read this within 3 days.

Author managed to consistently make me laugh with his blatant self-insert. It was nice being given a glimpse inside the mind of a weirdo with brain dead takes.

Joking aside, I really appreciated the way you shared your true thoughts and perspective. It's obvious that a lot of thought went into writing this, going so far as to simulate the tax sheet of a harem, rant about income tax, or using your education to talk about engineering, morality, and climate change even though this is a romance story lmao.I also respect that fact that you resisted the urge to make your self-insert a chad, otherwise the story would've been a lot more boring.

Overall, well-written and easily recommendable. This isn't the cleanest or objectively best novel you ever read, but it certainly has 'soul' (whatever that means. Don't ask me, I don't know). It isn't bland to say the least.

I get what you're aiming for here, with your little self-insert 'author' protagonist, but the whole edge-lord no personality crap is boring. There's a limit to how pathetic you should make your MC be. The constant debbie-downer attitude of the MC makes this a literal chore to read. I have no idea how you've managed to get a high rating but I do not recommend this.

I thought it was a "Gem" but then it went downhill pretty fast. 

Thought the MC is old enough to think what he should do in his second life and what happens? That dumba** goes back to School/University.

It does nothing for his future because he wants to be a writer, then why even bother.

But it's Harem and School is perfect for Pokémon catching, he needs his f***toys.

I don't like any of the shown FL til now btw, don't know why, just can't get me to like them.

Everything seems forced.

Quite possibly the best and most reasonable modern harem fiction I have ever read. Grammar and punctuation is really good. The characters have depth and their interactions are interesting but are complex enough to intrigue and capture the interest without being a needlessly complex puzzle to solve. 

It's awesome. It isn't the type of fiction where he looks at a girl, and she falls in love. There are actual reasons and character development. He has made the addition of the third woman where I am up to currently, so it isn't a meet-then-immediately-enter-harem situation.

The MC is actually honest about things. He is the stoic, stone cold, broken type of character, and has some personality quirks to make things interesting. His decisions are generally in-line with his character, and if off, have reasons behind them. 

TLDR: Read it. It's really good. Have been bingeing it.
