I read this on RoyalRoad before realizing it was also on Scribblehub.  This is one of the best psychic time travel stories I"ve ever read, up there with Replay by Ken Grimwood. Tabitha feels very real and her attempts to turn her miserable childhood around and live a better life are gripping. Not just materially better; she wants to stop being poor, but doesn't care about using future knowledge to get rich. Instead, she uses her maturity and to some extent her future knowledge to get healthier and make friends. But the bullies who used to pick on her for being overweight find new reasons to hate her in this timeline...  Highly recommended.

I normally try to save a review tell there are around 5 chapters out. But I feel that it's worth putting out a small review now.

I can see this being a really good story as long as nothing over the top happens such as some secret organization comes after the MC. The buildup of the MC's past is nice and I am liking parts of it.

I like that the story didn't go the route of the MC being super popular in her youth but then she grew into an adult and lost her High School fame like so many other stories that have time travel to youth tend to do.

I like wondering what the MC will do, She isn't someone like in isekai stories that somehow have all this knowledge that enable them to greatly benefit them. I don't doubt there will be things that greatly benefit the MC due to her advantage of the future. But it's nice knowing our MC won't be making Smartphones in the year 2000

Next two things I'll mention are something I said in the first chapter. First is that I'd have liked if the MC had gained some type of disability so she also has to deal with something that didn't happen normally. Such as temporary hearing loss or blindness, Maybe even paralysis

The other thing was more of my personal taste. But I'm glad that this doesn't have a romance tag. I can't imagine the MC experiencing all the harsh comings she did in her first life and still be interested in romance. The only thing I could kind of see would be shoujo ai since that tends to be more of just really good friends or sisterly love.

Overall I am excited to see more of the story.

This was phenomenal!  I was completely hooked from the start. I really love how down to earth the main character is. She's so strong and seeing her grow as the story went on was awesome!

Captivating Story with phenomenal characters. Highly recommend. Please read now.

The Mental-Time-Travel trope is one that has been done a number of times. Forty-Sixty-Four's take on the theme is a fresh take on it that lays a nice foundation to house the incredible characters this author is capable of writing. Once I picked this story up, I could not put it down.

While many of Mental-Time-Travel trope stories focus on trying to change things and the ripple effects those change cause, this story really focuses on the human elements of those effects. An old soul in a young person's body would be able to pick up on more of the horrors going on around them than a normal young person and with Tabitha being thrown back into the life of a trailer park denizen, horrors abound. Each ripple Tabitha causes unearths other horrors that she had completely missed out on in her time through and how she handles these new revelations and grows as a character and grows those around her is tear-wrenching and heartwarming.

The occasional changes in PoV help round out Tabitha's character, even though it does bring with it the adage "the story is only as good as the weakest PoV." Elena's PoV is by far the weakest, but she is still a fully fleshed-out character with realistic and understandable thoughts and reactions. Most of the changes are endearing and are used to give a deeper understanding of how the MC is perceived by her peers and the adults around her. Sometimes, they act as a stand-in for the reader, voicing their exasperation for them, which really adds to the story. It's rare to find a story with so many well developed, three-dimensional characters in it.

The weakest chapter is probably the first chapter. In comparison to later chapters, it still has some raw, self-pub/amateurish style in it (I distinctly remember reading the first chapter and thinking that the concept was interesting enough that I could "slough" through as I've read worse). This issue is cleared up by the end of the second chapter and by chapter 26, the author has really polished their craft to be high-quality prose and writing (side note: I've not read a better written litRPG story than the April Fools aside in between Chapters 26 and 27).

Somewhere around chapter ten or so, things get so deep that I found myself crying almost every chapter as I felt Tabitha's pain, joy, and love. While it plays a minor role in the overall story, her relationship with her cousins just kills me. Her transformation from being unable to tell them apart to their ultimate protector makes my eyes water as I type this.

Tabitha as a character is the definition of what a TRUE strong female lead is. She is brilliant, incredible, and resolute, but flawed, weak, and imperfect. I am so glad that I clicked on that ad on Royal Road so that I could follow her journey. I'm just sad now that there is SO much story left to tell and I have to wait so long for it to come out. In the meantime, I will be picking up a physical copy so that I can feel this story solidly in my hands as I reread it.

Its a story about starting over but its very engaging and totally different from anything else I've read. The characters feel real and the emotional development and reactions from them are second to none. It doesn't miss details and inbetween steps that other stories gloss over.
