So sarcastic you'll get burnt. Not actually human, but humans have the tendency to think that because he's sentient, he'll somehow have human values? And, like, no. Ira doesn't give a shit about humans. Whatever part of him that once did has been broken down over literal eons of human treating him like an object and shitting all over him. He's not a good person by human standards. Whether he's a good person by System standards remains to be seen.
He somehow keeps getting away with treating his Hosts like shitstains; there's an actual explanation for that, but that will veer into spoiler territory. Again, he's not human, but humans still want to put human labels on him (he'll laugh in your face if you try to call him one of them), so he's very definitely on the asexuality spectrum. Probably closer to demi-sexual than full-on asexual, as he's getting more and more comfortable doing more and more risque stuff with Silas. That said, would he actually like sex, even with Silas? Don't know. I'd have to write a sex scene with him to figure that one out. Also, since we're throwing labels around; he's somewhere around aromantic. Where? Again, I don't know. He grows fonder of Silas over the course of the story, but it takes a very long time for romantic feelings to creep in there. I think we're getting close, though!
Arc 1: A fantasy world where demons and humans are at war.
Arc 2: An academy set in a fantasy world.
Arc 3: A satire of the Little Mermaid.
Arc 4: The obligatory zombie arc.
Arc 5: Omegaverse meets Ira. Ira does not approve.
Arc 6: Survival on a hostile alien planet.
Arc 7: Showbiz
Arc 8: Nebulous cultivation setting
Arc 9: Steampunk Murder Mystery (light on the mystery, because Ira could not care less)
I am in love with this story.
I should've paced my reading more, not finishing it in one sitting but I just couldn't it was sooooo gooood.

This is a story about a romance that doesn't exist. Not once is it shown why Silas would fall for Ira or vice-versa. If the way Ira is painted is true, it feels incredibly cheap the way he is apparently falling for Silas. Not only that, there is this thing in bl novels where forcing a kiss is somehow seen as romantic. It is not.
Frankly, I read this because one of the reviews said this was a healthy relationship. It is not. This is a relationship between a being who doesn't feel much emotions and a persistent stalker who has found a target he can pursue. I did not feel an ounce of romance in this story hence my rating because this is supposed to be a novel about romance.
