After a long bad day ending in the most unexpected way, a young man wakes up in an unknown location with most of his memories missing. Saved from dying as a pickled corpse by a strange alien he's told that: "Humans are a unisex species." and that he looks nothing like them. Apparently the human male population went extinct while he was asleep, leaving only females behind. Not only that but it seems he's stranded on an uninhabited planet with an alien as his sole companion A new life. The burdens he has to shoulder couldn't outweigh his happiness at the chance to restart. But the more he learns about the universe around him the more he realizes, it's not all rainbows and sunshine.
Wow! This is surprisingly good read. The novel is really good, so good that I would classify it as a hidden gem.
It has good story development, relatable and well-written characters, good dialog, a well paced plot, driven character development, nice little mystery, with some fun moments sprinkled in here and there. What really got me hooked, however, was the interactions between the main character and the heroine (which are the only two characters introduced as of chapter 19).
The inky little minus point I have would be the grammar and the occasional spelling mistake, therefore, I would recommend the author to find an editor/proofer who could correct these mistakes in order to elevate this amazing story to a new level.
All-in-all, this novel is worth your time if your into sci-fi, mystery, and amazing character interaction that makes the story feel alive.
