Edwin Von William Highland is a prince and the only heir to the Kingdom of Highland. As a reincarnated person from Japan, he aims to use his knowledge to help his poor Kingdom get stronger. His loving father has already taken steps to aide his son to become a great King but everything changes when the Demon King arrives.
How will Edwin Von William Highland deal with betrayal, loss of loved ones, political opponents, and the demon kings army that marches across the land?
Its starts nice you got a trash prince who's fiances leave him, resulting in his fathers death in a rebellion. SO you wold think that the goal of this story was revenge on those who have wronged him? WRONG the MC forgives them and takes the mother of one of the fiances who has left him as his concubine (the mother of over 20 children witch I assume requires a lot of lovers since there is no husband) . I do not know what the author was thinking, starting a medieval story in which the virginity of the bride is important, yet taking a whore as his woman. And you think oh the author does not take, the virginity of the bride as important? BUT NO THE HERO THE ENEMY OF THE PRINCE GETS TO f**k 3 OF HIS FIANCES TAKING THERE VIRGINITY'S AND MAKING A HAREM OUT OF 12 VIRGINS (who he has s*x with, that is where the Ecchi in the genre comes from). Then you think oh its ok our MC has a harem of his own, RIGHT? But oh wait hes dense so, he does not get to f**k them !!! And you start thinking, oh but the MC is looking out for his kingdom and his family like most nobles in this stories... Well no the whore he takes as his concubine will outlive him by hundreds of years taking over the kingdom and probably making a few more bastards along the way of cuckolding the MC into oblivion.
Anyway do not waste your time unless you are into:
Sad thing is I liked this novel I was going to ignore all the flaws it had, but a king taking a whore as his concubine is what killed all the love I had for it and completely ruined it for me. There is not even a good reason to do it (the loses far outweigh the benefits). In addition to forgetting the vengeance for his father!!!

This story is interesting. It can be little demanding at the beginning when MC is wronged by so many people, but at the same time it is rewarding for those who had the patience to reed past the first chapters.
The main complaint of the people is lack of revenge in the plot, but I don't mind it to much.
I don't think that we will see much revenge against the ugly b******s
who betrayed MC because it's a novel focused on kingdom building and MC
is pretty much oblivious to almost all love related topics in the first
place.
He clearly doesn't care what is happening to those women.
He is building a country and everyone who can be useful will be used by
him.

Was good if not very good up until this chapter, where an ageless duchess and the omnipotent fairy Queen make him into there toy, and then it became garbage.
He can't see any girl around him, and when he 'asked what they meant' they just say dence like it means anything, and then takes a concubine who's going to make him a puppet atleast. Just stupid. (Additional rant in the comments of chaper 31)
