Elsaline Turnick just wants to find a way back to her boss. It's not her fault that these strange people called players want to kill her for being a raid boss, nor is it her fault that they are so easy and feel so Good to kill.

After many long years, the VRMMO Skashrim is shutting down for good. With one last event being held, most of the players went back online to celebrate. When the event ends, they suddenly find themselves in a new world similar to the one they were just playing, only in their game avatars and with endless lives. With the AI much better and what looks to be a new story, the players are out and about, more alive than they have ever been....Unfortunately, this story isn't really about them....and they aren't the only ones moving around.

Meet Elsaline Turnick, one of the hardest raid bosses who was only defeated twice. She has killed many players without getting past her first phase. Tricking others with her orange health bar and her gimmick which unless she is in a fight, her true rank won't be revealed. Well, that and she's just too skilled for highly skilled players to handle. She was just doing what she normally does, playing with scrap on the ground of her shrine when, she noticed something change. It was so subtle that she almost just went back to playing. What stopped her was of course the connection she had to her boss suddenly disappeared.

Sent into full-blown panic mode, Elsaline decides to take matters into her own hand after a bit of panic. She'll just have to find answers. So, why not explore the world for a bit? After all, she's only been around her forest and her master's castle. Unfortunately, the players still see her as a raid boss and Elsaline lacks common sense and has a thirst for killing. So if players thought they were safe, Nope! Watch Out, here comes the wandering raid boss!
