Synopsis

The last thing Matt Kelmer expected at the gym was sudden death. The second to last thing he expected was an offer of reincarnation by a goddess intensely moved by his "valiant efforts" before his untimely passing.

When the option of a world filled with catgirls hits the table, Matt is determined to live out one of his greatest harem fantasies no matter the extreme difficulty. What awaits him in Nyarlea will test the limits of his strength, courage, and patience. The monsters are harder, the Experience scarce, and the girls run circles around him.

Join Matt on his adventure of fighting Encroachers and battling Defiled. Every precious Level and Party member will aid his survival in perilous Nyarlea. With emotional twists, steamy nights, and chaotic surprises, Everyone's a Catgirl! will subvert your expectations one genre at a time.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this story. Another trope-riddled isekai where truck-kun claims another soul? A Nekopara rip-off now with stat sheets?

Thankfully, it's neither. It's so much more.

Matt enters the world of Nyarlea with the expectation that it's like every other RPG he's ever played: useless NPCs, skipable tutorials, and catgirls at his every whim. But after the first battle he realizes that he has to take the world and its inhabitants far more seriously or he'll end up dead. I was very glad to see this transition. As others have said, Matt is pretty thick-headed the first few chapters.

I find myself sincerely caring about the characters and cheering for them when the odds are stacked. This is also one of the few stories I've read that have made me laugh out loud. The references to modern games and media are tactfully done, interspersed like Easter eggs throughout the chapters.

The pixel art in each chapter is gorgeous and unique. I've never seen anything like it in other LitRPGs. It adds to the immersion and makes me want an iPaw case for my iPad. The stats and level ups seem thought out and well balanced. There are very few, if any, grammatical errors.

Overall, this is an excellent debut for DoubleBlind. I look forward to each update. I strongly recommend giving this story a chance.

Excellent introduction into a new world. Readers and writers alike could learn a thing or two. The story is also excellent, with intriguing characters that grab your attention right from the start, and keep you hooked!

The world the MC is thrown into is simple enough, but it sticks true to its theme. Only 17 chapters in, I can already tell that this story is headed high places. The author writes like a seasoned veteran, letting us glimpse their experience with every carefully measured word!

Special kudos for the repeated use of character images for text dialogue throughout the story! A nice break from the monotony of other stories, and makes this work stand out!

    I rate 5/5 toe beans!

MC is a complete idiot. &Nbsp;Story is pretty sad. &Nbsp;Had hope but from what I read. There is no MC has learned and started using his brain. &Nbsp;A train wreck to say the least. &Nbsp; No clue why people like it

While it seems like any isekai combined with the allure of cat-girls, it's definitely more. Personally, I went in with low expectations as one should do despite an already intriguing summary.

Our lovely MC definitely feels a bit more real than most protagonists that get thrust into another world. He knows what he wants and comes to the cold, hard realization that to have that he has to take the good with the bad. The bad being the hellish difficulty of trying to survive.

I'm happy to see that it's not bland or repetitive with tropes. There's no honeymoon phase. He's learning from the ground up and suffers the consequences of every action. It has the story flowing well and allowing development to progress naturally instead of force-feeding it to the readers or holding their hand with some God-Mode MC.

The story is a lovely read, well written, and lacks any unsightly grammar issues.

I encourage people to keep reading! Especially if they think ill of our dumb MC and that he stays that way. No good MC is the greatest at the start--make it far enough in and enjoy time with the catgirls just like he does!

This story managed to surprise me.

Our impulsive and not very bright MC dies in a freak gym accident while trying to show off to a girl, the accident is mistakenly taken as a heroic act and he selects to reincarnate in a world full of cat girls for him to seduce and form his harem even when warned the difficulty level will be high. He is then dropped on the sea without warning, just a taste of the things to come.

Disguised under a supposedly humorous premise there lies the tale of a truly dystopian world that nonetheless manages to remain upbeat no matter the horrors our MC and his companions face because in the end love conquers all, even if love is actually something that's forbidden. It seems the author took a silly eroge world and explored the full consequences of its premises while including horrific undead monsters as the enemy for sh*ts and giggles.

My only complaint is that world building fails at basic demographics as there are only 4 males for a population of multiple tens of thousands of cat girls. Do the math and see how many cat girls must the MC impregnate per day to keep the population stable... One guy is forced to do that for years and is rightfully considered inhumane.

In any case, a good story with very well developed characters, multiple POVs and a good exploration of a very interesting world.

52 (at the moment of the review) chapters of the characters eating and talking about how the world is doomed if the protagonist doesnt start breeding and fighting, so he should stop trying to get layed or find monsters... and... yeah I think I missed a memo, he keeps skipping s*x and fighting to go find more s*x and finding to skip? Why? Quickly leave those catgirls dying against a monster we can dispatch in two hits, losing that town to hurry back home and drink a latte is imperative! Also some of the reviews on different sites swear that character development happens, but I assume this is code for variety of drinks consumed, because there aren't any character, it's just an endless parade of mid-sentence schizophrenia.
