“Ahhh!” The young man screamed and howled. His nemesis' blade dug deep into his back and protruded out his stomach.
He had only been following orders. He had only wanted freedom for his people.
He didn’t want to die! Not now!
His eyes closed, the aspirations of his people leaving with the feeling in his fingers.
His heart was… still beating?
Instead of death, he fought back. Instead of letting chaos reign, he brought order. Instead of seeing his people regress, he brought innovations to see them prosper.
But can Bhagat forge a new Lohan when conflict and intrigue lurk within its borders?
Author’s Note: Hey all, this is my attempt at the genre of kingdom-building. The story takes place in a setting similar to that of South Asia. My reading inspiration comes from Tales of the Reincarnated Lord, with the thousands of hours I invested (or wasted) into Europa Universalis IV, Crusader Kings II and Victoria II. Just a disclaimer, the story starts slow.
Other Note(s): I appreciate any sort of feedback, whether it be comments, reviews or ratings. I'm not afraid of making changes to the way I write, and I'm definetely not afraid of re-writing sections of the story.
Schedule: New chapter every Sunday at 12:00PST
Content Warning: Swear words are used and there are visual depictions of violence in this story.
