About Spells:
The spells form the basis of magic in the world, just like how mana is the fundamental essence of magic. Every spell requires a definite amount of mana reserve without breaching the limits of which a caster cannot use a particular spell. So, each tier of mages has a definite internal mana reserve that lets them use spells pertaining to their tier once they learn how to cast it.
External casters can use high-tier spells right from the beginning, but their learning curve is much steeper than internal casters. Assembling impure mana and getting the desired amount takes years of practice, so it takes longer for them to reach the higher level of mages, despite having a surplus mana supply at all times. Multicasting is much easier for external casters, for they don't have to worry about replenishing their mana reserve. They can multicast advance spells right from the progressive stage, so there is no cognoscente boundary for external casters.
Common spells: Mages often need to know basic spells before they can learn common spells, even if they have the necessary mana reserve.
Advance spells: They usually have multiple pre-requisites, and require a high level of mana reserve for sustenance. Even progressive mages are sucked dry after casting one or two advance spells.
Special spells: These are the spells not bound by the constraints of usual spells. Some of them needs multiple attributes for casting, while others are learnt during cognoscente tier, and so forth. [Dragon Eye] that needs earth and water attribute is a special spell, and all curse spells come under the purview of special spells.
[Dispel]
[Dark Memory]
[Abyss]
[Shadow]
Type: Common spell
Requirement:
Description:
[Dark scythes]
[Darkness]
[Blood forge]
Type: Advance spell
Requirement:
Description:
The spell enables forging using one's own blood. The limitation are set by the quantity of blood available for forging and a perfectly healthy human can, at most, forge a sword as long as their hands. Excessive use of the spell has claimed the lives of many progressive mages, so the spell doesn't enjoy much fame among dark attribute mages. It can be used only on self-blood.
[Devil eye]
Type: Pseudo-summoning spell
Requirement:
Description:
The spell summons a detached eye that can serve as a third eye without the need for incantations and blood. The eye is round, grotesque in appearance, and murky black in color with reddish veins that span all along its spherical body. The eyeball (iris) is yellow in color, spread in a sea of murky black color. Only a selected few people, decided by the caster, can see and touch it.
This spell is more of mana materialization than summoning, so the spell comes under the purview of Pseudo-summoning spells. It does not require blood sacrifice.
[Quagmire]
Type: Curse Spell
Requirement:
Description:
A curse spell that kills the target when they perform actions forbidden by the caster.
Mages with Holy attribute are immune to curse spells.
[Fire Wall]
Type: Basic Spell
Requirement:
[Blast]
Type: Basic Spell
Requirement:
Description:

[Warmth]
Type: Basic Spell
Requirement:
Description:
The spell heats up the body or any desired part by materializing mana around the body. This spell can be used on both self and non-self bodies. Usually used to ward off cold, since the spell is harmless.
[Flame fist]
[Hell Fire]
Spell: Common Spell
Requirement:
Description:
The spell materializes eternal flames that continue burning as long as the caster casts the spell and the caster's wishes have been fulfilled. The flames never harms anything with life force.
[Smoke]
Type: Common Spell
Requirement:
Description:
[Explosion]
[Freeze]
Type: Basic Spell
Requirement:
Description:
The spell materializes ice over a small area.
[Ice Shard]
Type: Basic Spell
Requirement:
Description:
The spell materializes sickles of ice that serve as projectiles and are under the control of caster. The inherent nature of the ice sickles is still mana, so the caster is effectively able to control their projectiles.
Note: The mages lose control over the projectile spell if they materialize mana completely. A hard task for even for a Progressive mage, unless they know external casting.
[Chilly Winds]
Type: Basic Spell
Requirement:
Description:
The spell materializes cold winds around a small area. The winds are harmless; hence they are usually used to cool off the summer heat if not for momentary distraction in battles.

[Hallow Frost]
[Blizzard]
[Ice Craft]
[Ice Wraith]
[Slop]

The Novel is good so far.... I hope to see more character development for the MC but I guess it's gonna take huge effort considering what he has gone through.. Nonethless it is a good read
Edit: this is super underrated, I don't know why it doesn't have more readers

The romance, the comedy, the overall plot, and just about everything else about this story is remarkably well-written. A true gem amongst other romance novels on this site that are typically filled to the brim with horridly rushed smut and grammatical errors.

One of my favorite stories on site, Undead is just so much fun! I love everything from the character to the comedy, and though it feels more slice of lifeish you still get some good action and badassary at times. Honestly would recommend for anybody on this site to at least give it a try.

So far this novel has set the standard of an attention catching book. It leaves you demanding for more chapters as it is new, and well written story. Hopefully in the future there will be a small mass release to quench my thirst for this novel!

I love this story so far
Letitia's progress, Rudulf's doubtful determinations, Galan's encouragement of mischief with Rudulf, C & B's antics...
It's definitely a good read!

(Light spoilers)
It's a new concept that has a lot of potential but it's not good.
When I start reading it I feel it's interesting but the more I read it the more I don't like it
The MC (undead butler) acts as if he's invincible, and thinks that basically everyone is weak. He's an undead that can feel pain, have a crazy addiction to bread and that's really not undead-like
The villainess and the MC relationship is really weird. The villainess always call him mongrel even when she's in love with him (why would you call your love insterest with mockery)
All of the character feels real (you can feel they have actual personalities) but that's it, the comedy is bland, they dont make me laugh they just give me cringe.
3/5

I really don't get the 4.7. I can understand 4, the characters are well done, the bread jokes gave me chuckles at first, but it's also a bit too wordy and the pacing is sporadic.
