Very thrilling adventure, where the whole story is taking place in this Haunted House. The romance is steady, while the plot and action are anything but slow. As is expected with many short stories, the progression is on the 'very fast' side, but that is easy to overlook because of the interesting concepts within the Haunted House. It reminds me of "Alice in Wonderland", where the deeper they go, the further from reality they become.
Romance is logical in its progression, which I always appreciate. Unlike the million and one romance plots where their attraction to each other makes no sense whatsoever, this one thankfully progresses more realistically. Though it still seems a tad reminiscent of the "Suspension Bridge" effect since Danger is the name of the game in this story.
