Alex Hunt was a smart man. By no means was he a genius, but he stood solidly in the above-average class of society. He thought that when he died, he would at least go with a bang.
Sadly for him though, his death was as generic as they came.
First 10 chapters are good. That it all just downhills. MC does literally nothing, as in, he deliberately does nothing, while going out of his way to watch the original plot of the anime. Right after that the novel becomes a pretty dumb and boring blend of romcom and sitcom. The jokes are really stupid, and all of them are just in his head, he doesn't even says them (despite saying how he loves jokes, and his father being the Nurarihyon). Plus the original anime plot is described in a boring way.
Overall - this novel does not know what it wants to be. And is afraid to change even the sightest things. Which makes it just boring and pointless.

The entire story is basically Nurarihyon in the DxD universe. Author doesn't care for any of the characters in DxD and just craps on the characters often and does not help, just sits on the side lines unlessit involves him, no actual comedy is in this story and a lot of the "Jokes", is him thinking inside his head.
