      Status: two guys living together

I have to say, had high hopes for this at the start, but at a certain point it just went downhill, this is a textbook example of fanfiction which was talked about in Terrible Writing Advice's video; "FANFICTION ORIGINAL CHARACTERS", I want to use the chapter "Two Guys Living Together" to illustrate my point, but many of the points apply to previous chapters and probably to future chapters too, I want to start with a quote from the chapter, but before that let's get any bystanders up to speed, first; spoiler warning, second; Zhang Yu is the MC of the story, he has just come in from a cultivator world by using some sort of portal power that manages to take him to other places, his original objective was to reach his original earth and find his family, but he wrongly got to MMA's earth but in doing so he used 33% of his power, thus he must regenerate such before teleporting again. You have to keep in mind that this character is immortal and has insane amounts of power, the extent of which most likely easily wins against anyone in the original MHA. Now let's take a look at the chapter I mentioned earlier to analyze this character and how such a person fits in the original plot: "Since Zhang Yu doesn't have a place to be called home, and neither identity in this world, Allmight decided to bring him to his current apartment instead of living on the street. He only tells the latter that he requires identity but doesn't disclose the reason why and that he is from another world. It's too early for that."

This in context comes after ZY (Zhang Yu is way too long) has given a magic pill to Allmight so that he can regenerate his injuries... Yes, he "coincidentally" got into the story exactly at the Sludge Villain Incident. With such context, ZY goes to the condo of All (Allmight is too long), which is where such a quote was taken from.

What the author wrote to justify the reasoning behind his character's reasoning is that he; "doesn't have a place to be called home, and neither identity in this new world, [...]" Through future developments which will later be discussed we get to know that in this version of Japan hotels have the custom to ask for the ID, of which ZY can provide none.... Cool, cool. Now the problem with this line, first he is immortal, he can just fly to America which would be daytime sell whatever rare sh*t he has, and go have a sleep in a luxurious hotel in France or something. He has no reason to remain in Japan besides the author wanting such. Not to say there aren't good reasons to not do this, such as fear of the foreign intelligence agencies and stuff like that, but the character never says that, so we can't conclude that he had thought of that and thus avoided flying to other places, second is that it makes no sense why All would bring this unknown guy to his home. He is an unknown variable that could be desiring to manipulate All's quirk for personal gains which is why he was healed. After interacting with villains on such a weekly basis All would most likely instantly be suspicious of such an unknown person. Onto the third part of this phrase is; "He only tells the latter that he required identity but didn't disclose the reason why and that he was from another world. It's too early for that." Excuse me, what? He could get that in 15 thousand other ways and he decided to use Allmight for that? He could make an ID himself, he doesn't come from backwater ancient China he lived in the modern age before that and he can't make an ID. Sure putting it into the system would be harder, but he could just invade a public building and make himself a passport or something saying he is a refugee from Russia, and any trash-painted ID would work for a hotel or any other private business that wants to make it as easy as possible for you to spend your cash. He also wants to tell that he is from another world to Allmight. Why?! What would that do?! That would change nothing about your situation besides making you look even more like a threat because now you're either an alien or a lunatic. This phrase mostly changes nothing in the story, it is a failed attempt for the author to justify the character's decisions and serves badly to show the maturity and thought process of ZY.

Onto the next quote which is mostly just complaining about useless text is this one; "Plus, in such a 'peaceful' world like this, he could even sleep on the roadside and wake up unharmed if not for the people that might report him as homeless. But then again, he would still be fine even if he were to sleep near a nuclear reactor." Who reports homelessness to the government? And what would the government even do to the homeless? Is this the UC from Kenshi where beggars are executed or enslaved? Probably not, so what was the point of writing that? Second is the 'sleep near a nuclear reactor'. I don't know if the writer is German or something and thinks nuclear power plants emit radiation but they don't or else people wouldn't work in them and yes, you could sleep near a powerplant and be fine people do that all the time in real life, look at Zaporizhzhia before 2022. What he probably meant here is sleep INSIDE the reactor, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

The next quote is the one I mentioned earlier; "Zhang Yu could just exchange some of the jewelry in his person for the currency of this country, but he would still need to provide his ID if he were to rent out a hotel and various other matters, unlike the previous world where one only needs strength as their identity." I already talked about how this quote is absurd in the ID part, but I'll make it even worse by adding a quote from another chapter called 'Quirkless': "He would be lying to say he wasn't the least interested at all. A power that can be passed down is unique even in a cultivation world, but unfortunately, most of them require a certain bloodline. But right here and now, such a unique power can be passed down to him so long as the current host has given his permission. There are many ways he as an Immortal can make someone do his bidding even without the use of qi, but the question is, to do or not to?" (referring to Allmight). So he just said he can 'make someone do his bidding even without the use of qi' but he can't make the receptionist at the hotel's desk accept him no questions asked? Now let's go into the real reason why none of that happened; "Plus, he didn't mind the current situation at all. Living with a character one used to admire as a teenager is not something one can experience every day. Though, he would've preferred if it was the opposite gender, at least then maybe he could hope of something developing." Yes, unsurprisingly it's because he is fanboying over Allmight, a dude who has lived for thousands of years and still cares about a random anime he watched once and somehow admires a character that barely appears even on that show. The reason is that he doesn't admire Allmight, he admires the idealized version that he has of Allmight in his mind. In his mind Allmight is just a character that must be consistent with whatever a show depicted him to be, he is immortal but not for a single moment did he think that what he watched was a "censored" version of what really happened in that story, he can't think of Allmight as a real person, just as a puppet which strings must be moved by an overwhelmingly powerful entity called plot. Also, we didn't even meet a single female character and ZY is already thirsty for pu**y? Chill man.

After that we have this moment; "Then, two days later.

"Ugh!" A young boy could be seen covered in sweats while groaning under his breath. He was pulling with all his might but it wasn't enough to budge it at all. There might be a huge reason for that. For one, there's a buff guy sitting comfortably on top of the broken freezer while thinking what a fine seat it is. Of course that buff guy being none other than Allmight.

"Hahaha, I sure am glad you haven't been able to budge it as I'm getting awfully comfy up here."

"But... don't you weigh 274 kilos?"

"Nope, it increased, I'm at 280 now haha."

"What?! Either way, why are we here? Hauling garbage?"

"Aren't you adorable? It's because you aren't a vessel, silly! Hahaha!"

       Snap! Snap!

"That's different than what you say two days later!"

While the two were having a heated discussion as always, there was a man that stick out like a sore thumb sitting on a stair while gazing at the rising sun from the sea. Seeing the modern building and people on the way here makes him recall his home. He feels like if he just heads to the home address that he barely remembers maybe he could see his parent in this world, but at the same time, he rationally knows it won't be them waiting there." Which shows Allmight and Izuku training together, this, I'm sorry to say is just a pathetic attempt by the writer to garner empathy for his character and for you to think he got any real characterization until this moment, while at the same moment showing ZY without an ID because Allmight decided to not immediately fulfill the request of this powerful man he is indebted to in favor of f*cking around with this sh*tty kid and that's how the chapter ends, honestly, this completely took off all my hopes for a good fic that were already diminishing with quotes from previous chapters like this one; "If Allmight decided not to pass his power down to the kid, he wouldn't say anything as that is his decision and he will respect that. Though, he might train the kid to become the first—no, the second cultivator in this world. Honestly, he did have the thought crossed in his mind when he realized what world he had traversed into. He couldn't help but imagine the protagonist standing on a flying sword to catch a villain—it feels both funny and fascinating at the same time."

At this point the story just delves deeper into sewage land and beyond, so I will leave it in here.
