Wayne McMayther was the 13 year old son of the noble McMayther household of counts, ready and willing to take his first steps into wizardry at Hillchester Academy. Key word being was, as their gardener turned out to be an assassin hired by their rivals to end their bloodline. He succeeded, too, leaving Wayne and his entire family dead. Now rising from the grave to enact vengeance on those who wronged him and fulfill his dreams of one day being an archmage, the ghost of Wayne needs to float and stumble his way through being an undead, learning magic himself, and not being exorcised by monster hunters.
