Moon Phases are similar to days. A single moon phase is equal to one day, while multiple phases with equal multiple days respectively. Since The planet doesn't really have sunrise everything is counted in terms of the moon and it's phases or cycles.

Moon Cycles are much longer than moon phases, considerably so. A moon cycle lasts 12 years, as these beings live significantly longer than humans. When a numerical moon cycle is mentioned, take that number and multiply it by 12 to get the character's age at that point. As the story progresses you will meet characters that are very old, for instance the Council members or even Yutan( whose age will be revealed in a later chapter).

This is a coming of age hunt for Creegin people. A master hunter and two high ranking hunters take the young Creegin and seek out a powerful target that the young one must be the one to kill. If the young one fails to kill the prey, they are no longer allowed to join hunting parties or leave the settlement.

Redmane is a large red wolf like creature. It towers over the already tall people of titan and is fierce by nature. They can live to be 100s of moon cycles old. Their bodies radiate lethal heat when they are enraged that can physically burn their ambusher. The black smoke that comes off of them happens before they burst into flames and explode. 

A desolate murky, deep, swamp like region far south of the main city. The Creegin people are banished her at birth and forced to either survive or die. The extremely hostile environment hones Creegin abilities and makes them stronger.
