Lin JunYi is the cold-hearted and playboy son of an A-list actress and an electronics baron.

It sounds fun so why not? Plus this second male lead is pretty good looking and Lin JunYi doesn't mind playing with him for a bit.

Reading Guide/Trigger Warnings:
- MC is an immoral person, particularly in the beginning since he's not serious about anything. Once he falls in love with the ML, he will become more "moral" but will retain his playful nature.
- The world's setting is that the ML must begin each arc in love with the protagonist shou of the original story. Hence he won't fall for the MC straight away. The ML doesn't really love the protagonist shou, he just can't get out of the world's setting until the MC arrives. Once MC arrives, ML will slowly fall in love with MC until he's completely unable to extricate himself. But the process is not totally smooth sailing, there will be some back and forth as the MC is fighting against the world's setting.
- ML is the same in every arc.

Hiiii loving this story.
I can tell you're Chinese because this story seems authentic to Chinese culture which is different from some other BL stories from authors with Chinese characters (not that they're bad just bcoz of that, some of them are excellent too).
I love QT, but I'm not too good with smut hahahaha, so I'll be skipping that explicit chapter. However I still really love the story and all the emotions. I love smart and cunning MCs!

I really like this story. Despite having opinions that may have been controversial around the last few chapters of this arc, I love lin junyi as a protagonist + his intelligence and genre-savviness. I really hope someday we can see other arcs and that this story will update someday.

I only read to chapter 2 maybe it gets better and was as good as the other reviews make it seem. But I can't get passed how the main character doesn't like the antagonist the ex protagonist shou in chapter 2 because of his "demeanour" if you can even call it that. He then discovers that ex protagonist shou had illnesses that can all be treated through lifestyle changes: stomach ulcers, anemia, headaches, anxiety. " It's a wonder that Xie Xan and Sun Yuzhu can get it up for a sickly wastrel like this one." The system was quickly growing to like his host. This was just really gross to see how the author tries to downplay these illnesses.
