Small review due to only reading a few chapters and wanting give people an opinion before they read it.

This novel is a really nice piece of writing that, in my opinion, has excellent timing. One of the big themes at the start of the novel is how the character is completely blind sighted by the event of living in another world with knowledge of the future. The author creates a perfect representation of how most of use would find transmigrating in to our favourite novel would be. The character doesn't suddenly become instantly smart, they aren't suddenly some political genius who can manipulate people like some puppet master, but instead they are scared of changing a future that is already certain and scared of leaving the role that the character they now are has lived.

However, like I said at the start, the author has really nice timing in my opinion and the uncertainty and generally act of bumbling along the character displays, doesn't last long enough for it to get annoying but instead leads to the perfect moment when the character just goes 'f this, I don't care anymore'.

While you can expect some corny and empowering female moments like the act of cutting their hair - an action I always thought was silly an undermining - it was done very naturally and the vibe of the novel is kept very well.

All in all, it's a nice little read.
