Although the concept is good I do question a lot of the choices he makes (or doesn't) for the sake of his relationships. Having multiple relationships isn't easy but if he didn't want it, he should have said more to object to it. After all, it is his relationship. If he didn't want to hook up with the daughter he literally could have just stayed at a hotel for a week or not been in the house while his ex-girlfriend was there. Hell, he could have just taken the week off and gone with his wife to meet her relatives. If he truly wanted to be in a monogamous relationship all he had to do was put his foot down on the matter. If he didn't want to hurt both the mother and daughter in the relationship and take care of both all he had to do was be decisive and give the answer. Not by saying that he would love her less than his wife and saying that he wouldn't be able to fully love her and allowing her to find a different person she probably wouldn't fully love. That's not responsibility if you decide to love them then you are in a commitment. Like seriously your already dating a woman whos about 2x your age and now you're permitted by both your wife and ex-lover to love both and your answer is maybe?

On another note, he's now allowing Nene to fall in love with his wife knowing that it's going to be a one-way love. Right after telling Nene not to give false hope to her previous lover. He pushed his wife onto another love interest stating that he cares for Nene like how her mother cares for her daughter. That's so obviously BS if he really cared about her that much why did he let go of her to a different house? It was the MCs fault for letting Nene leave the house knowing that she was finically unstable, unable to get a loan from the bank, and had to feed a child? And then his reasoning was that she was sad that her ego/pride was hurt cause she was being supported by a guy younger than her and his family. I rather throw away my own pride than let my child not be able to eat and have sh*tty living conditions while living from check to check etc. I mean amazing job being an adult. Then the MC proceeds to not talk to basically his only emotional support at the time other than his girlfriend. He only decides to talk to her AFTER his wedding. It just shows that he doesn't trust her enough until he has problems that he can't deal with. Now he has to deal with the aftermath of choices in which the women he loves are now forming their own love interests with different people. Where is that "responsibility" that he and the people around him highly regard?

Even with all my problems with the story, I enjoyed it up until the edge nearing volume three. It was at that point I thought that relationships started getting thrown into the story randomly just to make it have more drama rather than tying up loose ends and finalizing relationships in the next volume to having a fulfilling conclusion.

    Story feels really contrived.

Character is weak willed, a massive pushover. Goes against everything he said he stands for within minutes.

It's not a bad story per se. It just doesn't seem to have any realism. It's like a hentai plot with how many glaring issues there are.

    Spoiler

How can you be married to someone who you supposedly love then not even within a month you cheat on them with your ex and their daughter. (Especially when the character was cheated on before and has massive issues around that).

The reasonings why it was acceptable were questionable to begin with but Author just keeps rolling with no stops on the crazy train.

The MC was portrayed as an intelligent nature for his age character. Within 2-4 chapters of that he goes full dumbass. I'm only staying inboard to see what the wire says about his cheating.

The story overall has too many issues to stick with it. No consistency of characters. The characters seem to make decisions on a whim. Also seem to ignore basic moral values.

Tounokenja proves that you don't need an idiot, dense, or spineless MC to create drama or an engaging read (I'm looking at you Liampark and Whatsawhizzer). TMIM is a crazy good story about a plausible situation, wherein sh*t gets turned upside down when it hits the fan. The best part about tounokenja's novels is the superb dialog, and three-dimensional characters which you can relate and emphasize with. This creates a truly captivating novel that leaves you hooked and wanting for more, just to see how it all turns out. And believe me, knowing tounokenja from his other novels, there will be plenty of twists, plot reversals, and shockers in store that will leave you hanging at the edge of your seat.

So all in all, find your popcorn, your favorite cherry soda, and start reading. You won't be disappointed.

    You're welcome.

    Status: -19- chigusa’s bad date

Well, I won't lie. This story is good, well structured and written. But I won't continue following her, what held me back until now was knowing the part of Chigusa's story after the breakup.

As I said, it's not that the story is bad, it's just not to my taste, a slice of life story, with drama. If there was a harem, or at least a romance between him, mother and daughter "the author has already tagged (faithful to romantic interest) ", adventure, another world, system or something else I would continue. But slice of life without another factor that holds me in the story, no thanks.

By the standards of most people this is a small harem story. Which is fine but the author uses technicalities, endlessly drawn out misunderstandings and angsty emotional conflict between characters to more or less fool a number of readers and keep them guessing.

The story can essentially be summarized as the author throwing broken women at the most insecure and passive man on the planet. It makes it really hard to relate to the MC.

    Spoiler

Everything the MC gains with his wife and his girlfriend (his wife's daughter), is essentially something he's given up already with another Mother and daughter pair who love him and were essentially waiting for him but he never made any moves. Which leaves this other mother awkwardly watching their relationship from the side while her daughter makes do with her second best option, the MC's best friend. All of this is awkward as sh*t and a result of a disgustingly passive and insecure MC.

    [collapse]
There's also cameos from actual competent harem protagonists throughout the novel which come across as awkward as heck and are downright weird as they're some of the very few men the MC comes across in the novel and are essentially everything he isn't.

There's some genuinely soft and romantic moments in the story but there's a void full of angsty drama between them that's exasperated by all the flaws the characters have and their inability to communicate meaningfully and understand one another.

If your here for a straightforward story, a light hearted story or a simple smut/romance story then this isn't it. Everyone has a sad backstory and with many their dreams remain dreams. The story is endlessly complicated with a ridiculous tangled web of relationships and the angst and the drawn out drama never ends.

I have enjoyed the story so far.  It is amusing and entertaining which was more than enough to make reading it worth while.  It did feel as if the inevitable was dragged out a few times but not to the point it became distracting or unpleasant.

This series is way too amazing! I only just started writing like last year so I won't go on about the grammar and stuff, but still.

Everything about this is really great. You can feel the character unlike in my story and like it is soooooooo cute! The MILF and MC, I swear, the MILF is just too cute.

It's dramatic, beautiful, cute and just perfect. There's literally that's not good about it. The romance is literally perfect. It's so sweet. It would not be wrong to call this a masterpiece. I guarantee it's worth your time. The pacing is perfect and the storyline is really unique. You don't know what will happen next- most of the time.

The chapters just suck you in. You start reading and you won't put it down. I've read a couple physical books with that sentence, 'you can't put it down' or something, but that wasn't really true. For the first, I've been able to understand what they mean. Well, actually maybe the 2nd time.

The dialogue is amazing and it feels like your watching something, not reading it.

Uhhhhh, also something about is just too good. Well, this is my first ever review so not sure what to say, BUT, you should definitely give this a read.

    (By the way, it's 18+ so 👍.).
