The Levels in this world are divided into 9 known ranks

Level 1 - Beginner

A Level 1 Beginner is one who has just started learning to cultivate. Beginners usually start training at 7 in their villages or clans and depending on ability and talent, be recruited to sects, academies or even churches to progress further.

Those that are not recruited and are also not taken up by independent wondering cultivators, will only lead normal mortal lives. 

Level 2 - Intermediate

A Level 2 Intermediate is usually a teenager recruited at 12 to join a sect, academy or church to train as an acolyte and grow further using their abilities and talents. 

Level 3 - Expert

A Level 3 Expert is the level of a veteran fighter in the army, inner court disciples of top clans or sects

Level 4 - Master

A Level 4 Master is the level of core disciples of top clans or sects, instructors in academies and high ranking soldiers in the military. 

Level 5 - Grandmaster

Level 5 Grandmasters are usually the level of Elders in top sects, top fighters in most secular armies and patriarchs of clans. At this stage, they can live up to several hundred years.

Level 6 - Sage

Level 6 Sages are founding fathers of top clans, or the pinnacle of most nation's strength. At this level they can live for thousands of years 

Level 7 - Immortal

Level 7 Immortals are legends and myths. They won't die of old age and literally can wipe out armies on their own

Level 8 - Demi-God

These are theoretical levels for academic arguments. Supposedly the Demi-Gods once ruled the world with their mastery over various aspects the natural world. Many churches are built on the worship of such beings.

Level 9 - True God

A theoretical power level above Demi-Gods, of the being or beings who created the world
