Lyris, a child of the sword; and Kiara, a child of era.

Both of noble families, full of resources and power.

Childhood friends, they were bound to make connections; and under a tree, they told each other.

"If I grow up, I will be stronger than you, Kiara!" said the boy.

"You won't! I'm supposed to protect you anyways!" said the girl, a giggle escaping her.

Lyris and Kiara, the childhood friends bound by a promise, and time moved on.

Both turned 18.

On the day of the awakening, something unexpected happened.

Lyris died.

That's how I, Lyris Von Parvian, died.

And how she, Kiara Mia Lappet, started her story.

But that never happened in my story.
