This is the story of a man who made a lot of bad choices.
An American army engineer finds himself at rock bottom in Japan, but finally figures out a way to put his life back together. While waiting in an airport in Japan, he was hoping to reconnect with his ex-wife, repair his relationship with his daughter, and get his family back.
The plane never makes it to Japan.
Having reached the end of his rope, Ryan just can't take it anymore, and decides to end it all by stepping out into traffic. The only problem is that he stepped out in front of Truck-Kun on the prowl.
As Ryan awakens, he finds himself trapped in the midst of a Romantic Isekai Otome Game, a world he knows nothing about. To add to his troubles, he finds himself occupying the body of the school's social outcast, destined to be married to the villainess, who is on the verge of ruining her engagement with the crown prince and facing exile from the kingdom.
On top of that, Ryan soon discovers that he is not the only one who has been transported to this world. Someone else very familiar with the setting is trying to manipulate the world to their own benefit and in the process may change the genre from what should be a simple rom-com into a demonic apocalypse.
To prevent this, the Gods have given Ryan an offer he can't refuse.
Stop the end of the world and they'll help him find his family.
So good.

Very well written, every character feels like it's alive, you can perceive as the characters change, how they develop. My limited vocabulary isnt enough to describe just how good is this work. Just give it a try.
