Book 10 starts with chapter 699.
Earlier books available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08WF8SB71
Jason wakes up in a mysterious world of magic and monsters. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters, and that’s just the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.
Follow Jason as he makes a place for himself in a world that is strange, yet sometimes strangely familiar. He’ll meet crime lords and aristocrats, gods and monsters on his path from would-be victim to heroic adventurer. At least, he tries to be heroic. It’s hard to be good when all your powers are evil.
Release schedule is 3 chapters per week, Mon-Wed-Fri USA time.
Please note: I am Australian and this story is written in Australian English, so there will be less of the letter Z and more of the letter U.

It's an interesting novel and world building is definitely decent so far with a few interesting side characters as well. My one and only gripe with this story is that... I really can't stand the main character. I find him infuriating most of the time. We definitely wouldn't be friends in real life or this fantasy world. He is beyond obnoxious and I hate that most people put up with him and give him a pass. He's not badly written and his personality and actions are given a believable justification. But I just can't stand the guy despite knowing all this. Also starting to equally dislike he female lead. Might end up dropping the novel or at least take a pause. Hard to read a novel where I dislikes the main lead as much as I do this one.

Pay walled, reviews were written before hundreds of chapters were taken down. Bait and switch, quite disappointing. Author should have posted a note on chapter one warning readers.
For the small sampler you get before the story is cut the main character acts like a fun, good natured fool. Dialogue is great but his actions are extremely frustrating. To be fair his decisions are explained because he's also quite brain damaged but it doesn't make for enjoyable reading.

So far the I really love the world and the power system, the characters are nice too. But the MC is probably the most obnoxious person I've read about. He's like the physical embodiment of r/atheists and r/imverysmart.

This story reads like a good D&D campaign: Realistic characters, well developed world, great action and dark plots.
It's like an Isekai, but without all the tropes that ruin the concept. Buildup is great and the payoff hits hard.
You won't regret picking this up

Ch 59 review: Well written and enjoyable. The funny portions are funny and the characters are well delivered. Once I started reading I couldnt put it down till the latest chapter!
Edit: as of this time I have reached chapter 151 and I say we'll done.
The characters of the novel feel alive, I can almost see them talk in front of me. When I close my eyes and give way to my imagination I can almost seem to hear their voices. The way they act has meaning, the way the dialogue is written felt natural. Each character has a place in the novel and each with their own depth and story to tell. Nothing feels out of place and it's a very good read.
The chapter length is also pretty good so I highly suggest if you haven't started yet, go read the novel.
Edit ch 227: My dudes this story will drag you in like there's no tomorrow! Charming characters! Solid world building! I say if you haven't picked up this novel you are doing yourself a disservice. Shirtaloon's writing has captured my heart. The words flow well and you don't feel any jarring disparities at all. Story immersion is high and accompanied by living characters and complex world it moves you to bits!

In my opinion the best story on this site. A must read if you like good writing, funny characters, deep characters, good worldbuilding, or combat description. This novel only real consistent flaw is the fact that there is only 5 chapter a week.

This has got to be one of the best things I've ever read on this site. The world building is fantastic, the "system" is perfect. The MC? Absolutely amazing. The writing is top notch. You don't need me to tell you anything else, just read it.
One of my favorite thing about this story is how it handles cliches. They happen, every story has cliches including this one. But this story takes them and pokes fun at it. Every now and then it'll flip stuff on it's head. You have some idea of what's coming, but there's always a twist. I adore it.

Really well written, really interesting, really funny. Barring the occasional typo, I consider this really high class writing. The story, world building, and characters are top notch. The humour is often in conversations and asides rather than the story itself, but help lighten what could be a bit action heavy sections.
I struggled a bit with the main character's religious views, but it's a work of fiction, and they are being borne out as the story progresses.
