Less than average if I say so.

Frustrating and infuriating to say the least. The protagonist was supposed to be quite old in his first life but I couldn't see a hint of maturity. ONLY trash third grader symptoms, completely unnecessary young master charade.

Plot forced scenarios and saying it's the "World's will" 

Here the family is said to be 2nd most powerful family. But I don't see a single fricking advantage of that in the First hundred chapters also, most of the time the said "family" are trying to kill him and sabotage him. 

It's just frustrating. Mind you I have read hundreds of novels and this is in my top 30 frustrating novels.

Here is my rating criteria.

4 star for the synopsis.

4 star for the past life.

3 star for giving him an easy way to become op.

-5 star for not using the authority at all.

-3 star for not using the family authority.

-2 star for all the grammatical and plot errors.

Still on my list of regular reads when there is an update 168 chapters in although the pacing could use some work.

Recently there is just too many things happening and it just keeps delaying the meat of the story but i'll begrudgingly suffer thorught it because its still quite decent overall.

Some random events just need to be relegated to a skippable side story that you can read when you don't have anything else to do.

P.S. There is no NTR just some overly sesitive bunch that consider every woman he sneezes at as part of his harem and get but hurt when she ends up with someone else.

For the first 125 chapters this is a fun if not cliche guilty pleasure, lots of faceslapping and a gratuitous harem, but the highs far outweigh the lows. Author kind of loses track of pacing sometimes but its never a major issue. Decent comedy, passable worldbuilding, fun character interactions. A solid 7/10.

Edit: as of January 2023 I can no longer recommend this under any circumstances. Its hard to even recognize what used to be enjoyable about the story. Truly there are very few redeeming qualities left.

It's a really interesting setting and I love the story so far. I read through to the current chapter in one sitting it was so good. My only issue with the story is that it can be a bit inconsistent. 

Tonally it switches between very serious scheming and intrigue to slap stick comedy. While this can work the comedy doesn't quite feel right sometimes. Lands more than it misses so it seems like a matter of experience.

The pacing also feels off. We are often introduced to characters we have never met before just to immediately forget about them afterwards. We also seem to only interact with people immediately important to the plot. I think it would be fine if pacing was slowed just a little.

Exposition is okay. The information is interesting and there is lots of it. It just doesn't seem to be woven together that well. I don't know if they have a beta reader or not but I'm certain that some chapters could do with a little reformatting. But sometimes there just isn't a way to get the chapter to do what you want.

Overall a really good story. I recommend reading it.

Pros: 

1. wide cast of characters makes the world feel big;
2. there is like one elaborate and intricate plot or scheme done by the MC every arc that is well orchestred and satisfying;
3. a few of the side characters have a personality and personal will of their own;

Cons:

1. comically many characters are introduces. It feels like 10 new characters every handful of chapters;
2. lots of situations where characters act literally ret*rded and chronically obsessively like horndogs. So unrealistic it breaks the immersion;
3. MC collects girls in his harem like pokemons. More then half of every female character that is introduced in the novel is acquired. Must have dozens of them already and other than 3 or 4 the others have the exact same templaten i.e. Their only personality is being attracted to the MC. 

P.S. All who say there is NTR in the novel are certified braindead. In fact, the insecurity ooses out of this novel from the fact the author doesn'teven dare to give the MC some male servants. S

2. MC can't do a thing because the fate backlash will kill him -> useless
3. Fully dependent on a overpowered poision to kill people
4. Romance and Harem were lazy and poorly done. The routine ended with him saving the girl and making her a maid, then some butt slap, kiss and sleep on the same bed.
5. No date, no gift, no conversation and the girl just magically love the MC. -≫ No better than the "scion"
6. No secret organization or boss in the shadow elements at all.
7. Time travel element disappeared after a few chapters because of his admin-level analysis.
8. The story relied heavily on brainwashing and mind control, but the top families were basically ignorant of this. There were no detection, defense, cure, protection or such against these.

A lot of this story is great. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is still an interesting plot to follow. It's entertaining in  way that a lot of ecchi series wishes they were imo.

I knocked off two stars for the following:

1. The grammar/writing is a bit off, it isn't unreadable, a lot of it is fine, but it's janky quite often. This can almost be taken as a stylistic choice because it never (iirc) delves into the "what the f**k is even supposed to be happening" territory.

2. The timescale is f**king atrocious, >500k words and less than two months have passed in the story. There's one timeskip and it was probably the best part of the whole over-arching story, lots of significant things happening with the implied plot potentially progressing more quickly. I wouldn't even have an issue with this if there weren't stated goals looming on the (very distant) horizon.

Overall I recommend this but I just don't think its a must-read.  Comedic and fun but very slow and a bit repetitive. (Not awfully groan-inducing repetitive, but noticeable (overindulgent is how I described it to a friend))

So far it's been pretty entertaining, but the future is pretty bleak with more women here and there, typical of a harem novel.

I hope the author can choose the right FL that can stand out among the many women.

because so far it's only a prologue, it's quite difficult to guess the storyline and the size of the world that the author wants to make.

the plot of MC armor is pretty good, and we need a scheme without relying on skills.
