The EE-T1 Osorio

Development of what later became Brazil's premier MBT (main battle tank) began in 1982 by Engesa (Brazil's biggest and most succesfull armored vehicle manufacturer). Tha tank was designed for the export market in mind using what's more modern in technologies and concepts Engesa made a true treasure hunt around the Western world in search of the best components for their new tank. The result was one of the best tanks of it's time, even being able to beat the M1 Abrams in Saudi trials (thanks to it's superior power to weight ratio and fire control systems), although in terms of armor the Osorio lagged behind it's contemporaries, the prototypes never received ceramic or composite armor (armor made of multiple types of materials, considered the go-to armor for modern heavy tanks, although it's weight makes it not viable for lighter vehicles ) which gave it an edge on the trials.

The Osorio had two versions the P1 armed with a L7 pattern 105mm gun and Italian fire control systems, considered the downgraded version meant for the Brazilian army.
And the P2 armed with a French GIAT 120mm smoothbore gun and Dutch state of the art fire control systems, meant for Saudi Arabia, Iraq and other clients around the world.
The P1a1 is the upgraded 105mm version equipped with the same fire control systems as the P2 along with modern command and control systems and GPS, these are rare in Brazilian service with most equipping the elite 3rd Armored division.

The Pentagun shotgun

The Pentagun
A of legendary Brazilian gunsmith Nelmo Suzano, this is a revolver shotgun, it can be easily converted to fire any shotgun caliber, although most of its users prefer 12 gauge five round cylinders, the gun has a moving barrel that acts as a sealing on the revolver cylinder, akin to the action of a Nagant revolver, with each trigger pull the cylinder is moved and the barrel recoils back until a seal is made and a shot is fired.
Speed loaders are available, along with a cup-grenade launcher for firing tear gas grenades.
The weapon is break open and has a ‘’bolt’’ handle akin to a LAPA rifle that acts as a spent case pusher, the weapon furniture is made out of polymer.
A LED glower in the sight is turned on by the first trigger pull and manually turned off, this feature was discarded in later versions but often appears in the odd Pentagun used by Riot police in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Charrua APC/IFV

In the 1980s Moto Peças a Brazilian company previously involved in modernizing old WW2 and 1950s Brazilian equipment designed a replacement for the large amount of M113s armored troop transports in Brazilian service taking the old M59 (a M113 predecessor) as base, the M59 was bigger and heavier than the aluminum made M113, being so big as to be capable of carrying a ½ ton jeep inside of it’s troop compartment.
The Charrua project was started in 1982 and by 1985 a prototype was ready, the project was made in parallel with the Tamoyo tank, being designed to share parts and to operate together in combat.

The Charrua was very versatile, being capable of accepting heavier armor and having multiple anti air versions, a infantry fighting vehicle version (armed with a 25mm autocannon and guided missiles) a light tank version, command post version, engineering version, ambulance and self propelled artillery version. It's lighter versions being amphibious.
The Charrua proved dependable, cheap and extremely effective in service although it never managed to replace the M113 in service completely as many of the old aluminum boxes continued being used in some parts of the country.
