Kyle Porter, a timid, unassuming boy, lives his life in a fog. Wake up, go to college, go home, play games, go to bed. the same routine everyday, but something is empty, hollow, about everything. The new game, Aegis Online, comes out, and with it, a chance to be someone else. Will Kyle grab this chance, or let it slip from his grasp? Only time will show the consequences of his choice, and there's no telling where it will lead...
The story itself, the game aspect and the action is quite good. But the characters lack depth. For example: why does the MC like her love intrest? My impression after reading the story is; the love intrest looks good, she's supportive and kissed the MC. It feels shallow.
This could be easily fixed, by giving them some deeper conversations (maybe during dates) that adresses topics other than transgender.
Though I must say the reveal on chapter 51 is a good step forward in this aspect.
The story has potential to be good, it's just not there yet.
Also maybe add the discrimination and LGBT+ tags to the list. Those are quite relevant and present in the story.
