Synopsis:

Keith, a vieux riche, spoiled and cherished, heir to the Demiliore Consortium, lives his life at large. Power, Wealth, Fame; He has it all.

But is it all just a dream?

With a set of memories, the knowledge of the future, in a play orchestrated by Destiny, knowing well that he is born to be a Villain, will he prevail? Or is he going to fall at the hands of the Child of Destiny just like he did in the nightmare that haunts him?

Author's Note:

Yes, the story is heavily influenced by Urban-Fantasy Chinese Novels. Don't read if you have a problem with those types of plots. 'Cliche' plot elements are bound to appear, so if you easily get triggered by such things, keep away. And I would advise you to not even start the story if you are an ardent believer of 'Good shall prevail over the Evil'. Keep away! MC here is a Villain! But yes, he is not someone deprived of emotions, even though he is a Scum. So, do not expect an outright Evil MC either.

I don't write Netorare. Don't worry about it!

Story is quite OK for this type of novel and character development is also OK but what makes me drop this story is

      1. How cultivation power level works realy tere is not much going on here almost all the people he meets are cultivators but if you look power wise they are not much difference but author is trying to make it mysterious

      2. Also there is too much show off like I get it MC is rich you don't have to remind me 2 to 3 time in each chapter.

      3. Also military is too powerful which I don't get it I mean cultivators are just a bit stronger than normal people and quite resilient that's it but a guy who was a general have such high level of power that everyone fear him and it's not just one guy it's every old guy with gang or military background that's described like that.

      4. Cultivation is too primitive like people in this world forgot what even innovation means they just cultivate normally and try to get a bit more powerful than others nothing like runes, pills inscription or anything except for MC healings skill which I dont get it how it works because it was never described in story.

      5. At the start of the story I got the impression that cultivation was a secret knowledge controlled by power people and organizations but then MC encounter people with normal background or gangs who are cultivators.

      6. Story is too slow with no exiting development except him describing his business plan in detail which he ripped of from his original world I mean there is nothing new here just copy paste from Wiki. Also there is no plan detail or MC planning long term you will only know when he does it which makes him seen like unreliable and short sighted

      7. I don't get it if MC reincarnated or just got second chance it just mainly depends on situation and he will be using either of them to continue the plot never clarifying anything.

      8. What happens in future a chaos which purge the world in fighting or apocalypse there no information about it, it's a story without a aim or goal we just know someone guy got fed-up with MC villain activity and destroy him and his family which I think was inevitable after you hear what he did. (Again in this situation he is time skipping but there are situation like business when it's like he reincarnated)

      9. Till now MC have never fought or got in any dangerous situation he just live a normal rich guy showoff life only two thing stand out he is cold resistance and his healing skill.

      Basically this story lack imagination

I like this story a lot. The MC is a villain who cares for his close ones dearly, but acts without remorse to those in his away and those against him and his others. If you've read the tags already, you would know this is a villain-harem wish fulfillment story, however it is so very well done. The actions the MC does are calculated and explained and do not ignore the process done to do it. The characters are also unique, and introduced very well with their own stories. Unlike some 2 star review says, he does not forget about his girls he comes to like and care for. It is rather the opposite and spends time with them.

This an excellent novel if you are on board with the premise, otherwise it's still pretty good if you like a few of the story elements and none of the tags are a red flag to you.

The protagonist (Keith) essentially is the fusion of the in-universe character, a villainous figure that was going to meet a tragic end, and a isekai'd consciousness of a person from "our" world that was compelled to read a story that describes the future event of this other world in the shape of urban cultivation/fantasy story.

The protagonist thus can rely on hindsight to try to correct his fate, which involves "stealing" the women fated to be with the protagonist of the book.

The characters are generally entertaining, the protagonist drives the story and is proactive, the girls are relatively likeable and the plot seems ambitious enough and the story takes itself seriously as well.
My favorite girl so far is probably Amelia or Vanessa but there is no one that I particularly dislike.

Given how ratings work on this website or many other such websites, a 5 star is definitely warranted and more than deserved... but obviously the story is far from perfect and here are my main gripes:

      1. The protagonist is way too much on the forefront, it's good that he drives the story forward but it would be nice if we could see what happens to other character even when Keith is not there. I especially wish to see how the girls interact with each other, like Amelia and Venessa which I think could have interesting moments or even arcs if they work together.

      2. The fact the protagonist is a fusion of 2 personalities is not explored enough IMHO, the original Keith was a rather violent, uncommitted and uncaring person but we can certainly see that either the fusion with the isekai'd person or the knowledge of the future affected him and made him more caring for both pragmatic reasons but also because he genuinely cares about the people around him and I think this change should or should have been explored more.

      3. Like the novels this story was inspired by, there is a "system" which ought to help the protagonist fight against the "real" protagonist (s) of the world through "cheats" and special abilities. In short I think that such system break immersion and feel intrusive in what would have otherwise been a more cohesive world, luckily the system doesn't actually matter in the first phase of the story (which runs up to chapter 180 AFAIK) but my fear is that this system is going to look just as intrusive as in the stories that inspired the author. My solution to this problem is to actually have the protagonist explore how the system works, why it exists and to actually not make it external to the world, meaning the system doesn't look omnipotent but relies on some energy source or can be interfered with and thus IS part of the universe.

4.I both appreciate and dislike different parts of the setting, I've grown to like the "family feud" style setting of the main city, I'm fine with cultivation, classic Western magic and such. What I instinctively dislike is the inclusion of Olympian Gods, Norse Gods and so on feels a bit off putting, I'm not sure how the author is going to build a cohesive cosmology out of all different cosmologies from different time periods, it can easily become a kitchen sink, but this is more of a fear than my current opinion.

      5. Narratively I think the main problem is the gap between chapters, a lot of the times the start of chapters lack a connecting thread to what happened in the previous chapter or scene, this is bad enough that even when you read the novel in a continuous fashion you can easily be confused at the start of any given chapters. A simple bundle of sentences to connect the scenes would go a long way.

      6. This might be controversial given some people might think the story is already rather slow, but sometimes I wish some of the conversations between characters would be showcased more, this ties partially to point 1. but this applies to Keith's conversations with other people, the actual conversation scenes that are in the story are already good so expanding on that can only do wonders, but as I pointed out the story is already quite ambitious in scale and thus it might not have the luxury to extend scenes for too long. I'd personally focus more on point 1. than on Keith's scenes given how prominent they already are.

I hope the author ends up quelling my concerns and expand upon the parts of the story and setting I prefer but even if the story keeps its current trajectory it's going to be an entertaining ride.

TL;DR: Read this, it's pretty good!

A great story in development here. Have loved all the available chapters, and I hope the author will not give up on this story!

The MC is calm and collected, not a hormonal teenager. The Families and the world building are refreshing, as well as the interactions between the MC and other characters.

If you are fine with the warnings and the Tags, do give this story a read. I am sure that you won't be disappointed!

Well one of the best in harem.                    (big harem) 👀 as their interactions with each other, their healthy competition their personal spaces and many wives going to be r living already with his already big harem nd they r most loved ones by everyone cuz of their cuteness as they r in their teens,

If u don't see any problem with above said things go for it is literally what u r missing and aside plot above Parah is mostly to it.

This don't have a yandere character as they r my favs, yes one got the tendencies (ve..) but fate my only small complain to u is that least screen time given to her as of now. I hope, no I am certain u know this and u will give her more time after 500 ch, but this is only my personal rumbling as in my head yandere, possessiveness, obsession going on as always  they r my absolute fav of now, planning to write a nov.. 🤫 Will Take some years, if anyone have a recommendation for me plz message me it's name

Fantastic, novels like this one is why I don't mind skimming through dozens or even hundreds of terrible novels, because I know that at some point i'll find the gem that is truly worth my time and support.

Honestly the novel is so good it caught me off-guard, I didn't expect the MC to act like a real human being (and not a psycho-mentally ill killer, like in most villain novels, KILL!) this man actually has feelings and you can see it, he also interacts with other characters in a believable way (no "he went X then did Z then skip", you get to read his dialogues with his family/friends/enemies (?), the girls around him are respected (none of that "you're just a girl" trashy writers use), each of them get their own personalities, thoughts, fleshed-out backstories and their interactions are actually fun to read! There's also some lore-feud between the big families (currently at ch53 and only found out about Keith's and Kiara's, Amelia's soon probably) and slowly but surely the cultivation/god powers/etc. Is coming into play.

I know for a fact that there will be faceslapping later on (for now, the "mcs" are still hiding in their shells) but considering how well is the story progressing I'm not worried about it, in fact, I'm looking forward for it.

Very good so far. MC is manipulative but not evil. Harem is looking ok, have to see how it develops. Fate shenanigans might get annoying but nothing dumb has happened yet.

I am slowly losing enthusiasm for this book. There are just too many illogical things in the settings, like seeing an ant beside your feet and planning to kill it by trampling it, but somehow "destiny" intervenes and the ant transformed into Hercules that can effortlessly lift giants so you failed. Destiny can sense its son is in danger, but it ignores the main character who is harming its son. Another disappointment for me is that the main character is the originator of the powers, but his mother grows much faster than him, where is the logic in that? You are in the cultivation world, and you are the ancestor, yet your descendants are the stronger?

What is the point of having a system where the benefits are prioritized for the heroines?

Chapter 269 and I'm officially dropping this novel. I can't take it anymore. The illogical bullsh*ts are overwhelming. It seems like the author is doing everything to prolong the story. The halo protagonist has many system penalties but is still given rewards? What a ridiculous so-called "BONUS Reward" that outside of penalty. You're just playing us with game words. This book is too illogical.

I have read many novels in this genre, the type that protagonists are protected by the so called heavens, but this is one of the most outrageous ones.

Seeing this Novwl having 80% of 5 star reviews hurts my soul, eyes and mind... When I thought that WN was site heavily random reviewed I saw this... In all honesty I was really hyped up on this story. I liked it and propably I would support it if not really heavy downfall... Start of the story is really cool, our MC is getting to know heroines generally everything is okay... But after 80 chapters when story should already started to heat up author still use casual routines to progress story in snail pace... I understand that maybe author want to build up bonds with heroines and his family but it doesn't mean that other events must be on hold? Story had 3 years time of preparations and MC goes to military God damn.. Yeah he could create his own powers, recruit his own peoples, search artifacts and he go to useless military when he is God inheritor. This doesn't make sense. He could even go in retreat and cultivate but he go waste time. And something about having connections in military doesn't make sense. From when God need military on some god forsaken world where 10% or less people are even aurors. After 2 years time skip we have even better story hahahahah. We have some info dumps and we got to know that protoganist that awakened 9 months ago Is still protected by destiny. God damn... Whole setting is too restricting and time prolonging. Story that should take up to 80 chapters have taken nearly 200. When sometimes it's good idea to add some fluffy relationship interactions in chapters 80-160 I was thinking that I read next Pokémon collecting shenhao Novel... Novel totally missed it's point. From "Villain" story we've got dating simulator with autistic Eurebus.

Story is really well written. Author for me have a talent for setting up background for things but execution of action is totally on the ground... S*x scenes are like this too. We have good moment, atmosphere and content "he kissed her, he entered her, he treated her roughly, moans resounded in the mansion and end". Story is like those r18 scenes. We have really good events leading to something but execution is bad. Events are boring, fights are boring and non existent and even story progress is non existent.

To somehow end it I want to say that I really want to give it more than 2 stars but I can't. Author had ambitions from what I can see but he somehow creates too big world for his abilities. Whole idea of greek pantheon is right but idea of god inheritors running somewhere around you and only small part of people have powers is crazy... Too crazy to realize it. Whole idea of making start with few protoganists and giving them protection is next shoot in the feet. Maybe plan was good but result is not worth making thst big plans.

Maybe I will be back someday to read 190+ but I doubt that... Author must have to learn his own power and don't go for a universe as one of first better known works. It's unreliable, stupid and confusing.

The first and most important thing to point out is that the protagonist is a cruel villain (Don't hesitate, he's truly evil)  although sometimes you can confuse him with an antihero, for defeating human scum who have been the protagonist's rivals until now.

This is a surprisingly good novel. Good protagonist with clear motives, secondary characters and waifus that you get attached to, and very good plot.

But unfortunately I have to warn that the story has more +18 action (They are good and interesting s*x scenes) than fights (there are fights, but few). Since in the first... 280 chapters it focuses more on "political actions, conspiracies and manipulations" than on fights. But lately things are getting more lively in terms of fights. And I also have to point out that it has too many waifus to give them all the protagonism they deserve and sometimes you can forget about a waifu.
