Synopsis:
Keith, a vieux riche, spoiled and cherished, heir to the Demiliore Consortium, lives his life at large. Power, Wealth, Fame; He has it all.
But is it all just a dream?
With a set of memories, the knowledge of the future, in a play orchestrated by Destiny, knowing well that he is born to be a Villain, will he prevail? Or is he going to fall at the hands of the Child of Destiny just like he did in the nightmare that haunts him?
Author's Note:
Yes, the story is heavily influenced by Urban-Fantasy Chinese Novels. Don't read if you have a problem with those types of plots. 'Cliche' plot elements are bound to appear, so if you easily get triggered by such things, keep away. And I would advise you to not even start the story if you are an ardent believer of 'Good shall prevail over the Evil'. Keep away! MC here is a Villain! But yes, he is not someone deprived of emotions, even though he is a Scum. So, do not expect an outright Evil MC either.
I don't write Netorare. Don't worry about it!

Stopped reading after his harem kept hidden that they went to a strip club to watch other men. And the worst thing: The MC was okay after finding out.
The following is a comment I made after reading scene:
I really liked the novel, but this chapter broke it for me, sorry. It feels like cheating and the out of character behavior doesn't make any sense.
Lily doesn't care about other men, she hates if somebody is lusting for her and. So why the hell does she voluntarily go to a strip club to look at other men and is also apparently blushing. She even tried to hide it at first. She knows how possessive Victor is, but still does it and also doesn't stop his women.
Also, why is it ok for Victor that his "women" go to a strip club to look at other men and also hide it from him. I don't buy the "gain some frame of reference for their wedding night". How would they gain reference just by looking and why would they if they already saw Victor naked?
This is such a disappointment for me. I tried to keep reading the next chapters, where the author tries to mitigate the damage, but I just can't.

Starts out decently. Returner/reborn type isekai, system, harem, the OP MC, and all is fine, enough of a unique take.
Problem is there is a bit of a bait and switch that kind of smothers the story.
In a twist reveal it turns out that the MC isnt reborn in his past life and his memories of another life, where he read the future events of his past life, he was returnered from is false.
This retcon is then double and tripled down on. And now it's revealed his mother never actually married his father and she was reborn already pregnant with him, her brother son husband father. Yes the MC is literally married to his mother who is also his sister who was reborn who then gave birth to him, who then was given a bloodline from him making her his daughter, who he is married to.
Honestly the story is a mess since the retcon made everything six levels of convoluted.

The story is good and the writing too but I'm just feed up of the wife picking. The story move way too slowly because of all the wife picking. If you don't mind that go for it

One of the best original story novel I ever read.. It's not your average young master collecting harem you courting dead mumbo jumbo.. The MC is an OP but still growing to grasp his true power, the story is well written, the main harem is truly not just a vase, but a powerhouse on it's own.. Everything is smooth sailing with occasional problem that honestly just a menial job to solve for the MC..

I have to laugh at some of the reviews as the consensus is that this is just another isekai harem story. Which makes me think they didn't even read the story?
I think what separates this from the vast majority of isekai type novels is the language and wording. This is extremely well written. The poetic turn of phrase and the composition of the storyline is really quite impressive.
You see there's a very big difference between "Hey you on the balcony" to But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the East, and Juliet is the sun!
This is where this novel separates itself from the usual fare or should I say unfare offerings were used to on this site and other online literary portals.
So rather than highlight any plot holes or continuity issues. I prefer congratulating an author who has obviously put alot of time to craft a very entertaining novel.
Well done I look forward to reading the continuing adventures of our erstwhile hero and his ever growing band of beauteous maidens.

I won't say anything more than needed.
It's the best novel you will discover on any site. Though it's somewhat typical but it's definitely unique in its own way. And ignore its pace. Its pace is what makes it interesting.
And Sir FateDevilAce, you are the most respected author for and to me. And before, I have never thought about writing a novel but after reading this novel, I have decided to write one.
Though I cannot buy your privileged chapters on Patreon but if my novel, ever, kicks off, I am definitely going to support you.
Oh How I wish that I could read those diamond coated chapters? Alas! I can't for now.

Very similar to the story "The Young Master in the Shadows" I'd even go so far as to say some elements might have started off as a rip/clone. Except this one seems like it was either written or edited by someone with a much better grasp of English whether native or not. I'm not taken out of it by grammar issues like I was in the other one; this one flows nicely.
The harem so far is good. The smut isn't great, pretty vanilla but it works. It's also more than compensated by good character interactions and personalities. The story plot isn't going to make anybody amazed but it works well enough. I don't think anything so far is particularly amazing but everything is good to great and when that is packaged together with nothing bringing anything down your in for a good time.
My biggest concern for this story is the quality. So far its great but many a story start a downhill trend somewhere. If this one is able to keep the quality throughout AND NOT RUSH then this will be a great harem story and you know how rare those are.

I have enjoyed it so far. It has been entertaining and amusing. I think some of the discussions about slavery are way off base but it is fiction so whatever. Many of the characters fade in and out of the story and like most episodic stories sometimes the fluff gets a bit much. However not too badly and that is as much a result of the medium as anything else.
