    ZERO payoffs ZERO satisfaction.

decent-good quality writing. But everything else is BAD.

Bad things keep on happening to m.c. the girl doesn't get a single W.

It's just L after L. For no reason. Imagine worm but

    Spoiler

at the beginnin of the story Taylor gets caught by dragon & gets her spine broken bane style, then the "crew" find her & brainwash her. She lives like a puppet till she discovers that "meth addict future reader girl". goes through unbearable torment and saves her only to watch the little girl get gunned down while running away. Then her (Taylor's) dad dies in bakuda's attack. She tries to help in end-bringer attack & her friends die (she is friends with the crew because she developed Stockholm syndrome) , then "the 9"  come to town & torment her, she snaps & does something heroic, kills few of their members & some civilians and the rest of the 9 escapes. She gents sent to the cage (for killing civilians) . Then she gets assaulted by the inmates, repeatedly... completely loses it gets a power up & kills sion, only to have bullet put in her hear by the winner women because she's become dangerous. While all this is happening her school bullies pop in & out of the story just to torment her.

Most important of all she is one of the most powerful people in her universe. But She gets sh*t on by ppl who don't even have the power to touch her shadow

that's basically what you are getting into.

I regret ever picking this up, I wasted my time reading it cause it made my depression worse (I'm going to watch some ylyl & funny animal videos after posting this... to cleanse my soul & take my pills to cleanse my mind)

    ---

If you are the type of reader that likes to read misserable stories (good but miserable) where at the end m.c. just falls ill and passes out, just to wake up to another worse day... go ahead & be my guest.

The author could at least make the m.c. trip on a banana peel and die in the epilogue. It would at least serve as a wonderful punchline to end this joke.

    ---

Oop nvm, I totally missed the "tragedy" tag, gotta thank author for pointing it out to me.... but to be honest it should be "#_pure_misery_from_start_to_end". Tragedy is a deceptive understatement.

Welcome to the pain train where the writer uses convoluted measures and ignores common knowledge to inflict pain on the MC. Half her problems are quite unbelievable, thus making for a boring read.

It's like lightblade23 thinks tragedy means fate torture. That's not how that works. You have to have hope to lose for something to be tragic. The MC trusts no one, doesn't know anything, and only knows pain. So this story is like watching a 10 yr old slowly beat a paralyzed kitten to death and you can't do anything about it, so you go numb, then bored after a while.

I recommend light go read Les Miserables or other top classics on how to set up tragedy.

This story is in dire need of editing and/or a rewrite. Sometimes it almost feels like the author add word just to increase the word count it would be more pleasant and easier to read after a bit of streamlining.
There is in my opinion two big problem with this novel and they both comes from the same place. The tags.
The first one is the tragedy tag.
Due to the fact that this story need to have tragedy it lead to a lot of unnatural behaviour from the character in the story both from the MC and others. As an example the Matron of the orphanage, she show great kindness to the MC yet also inflict frankly ridiculous punishment to her as well. If you were to tell me that the Matron herself has mental health issues I would believe it.
Another example is the way the MC handle her bullying. She decide to ignore it which as most people know is the worst thing that you can do, as in if the bully is really interested in hurting you it will only lead to escalation.
Yet those scenario must happen because of the tragedy tag regardless of how little sense they make.
The second problematic tag is the racism tag.
Often a lot of the difficulties that the MC face are summarized as being due to racism which I personally don't agree with. Of course the MC do face racism her difficulties at being adopted stem from it for example. Oftentimes however it seems to be used as an excuse and even end up making the MC herself feels racist. For example later on in the story she tries to get a full tuition and when she fail immediatly says that it was because the other candidate was "white". She doesn't entertain the idea that the person was just better or that she may have shot herself in the foot, you learn later that she has already failed multiples test on purpose in order to "not draw intention" which considering the cost of a full tuition would have ruined her chance already.
I think society value result above all else and that if you are the best then things like racism or s*xism matters not.
Those are the two big problem in the story. The need for Tragedy even at the cost of believability. And the Racism heavily being used as justification as to why the MC is just a victim and could not have done anything to prevent or alleviate those situations.
There are other minors problems like how she get her powers too easily for example but they are not as important I believe.

The MC is literally a reincarnated person who knows the world and is older mentally than almost every single person who abuses her in this story. I’m sorry but what the f**k! If you wanted it to be mental trauma then you shouldn’t have done a reincarnated MC. They should have more than enough life experience and knowledge to get out of the situation that they are in. It is legitimately like the MC wants to be abused. I was giving you a pass for the longest time and then you have the coach who hints at possibly s*xually abusing her?! And she does f**king nothing! Any one would’ve snapped at that! Oh you hold my future hostage and are threatening me well guess what dumb ass I’ve got nothing to f**king lose!

Everything is just really pathetic about this story. The MC is a total lapdog as well, who just takes and takes endlessly without doing anything to better themselves like there is no forward thought at all.

Really just pathetic, just get tortured endlessly without any attempt to push forward.

The synopsis really doesn't prepare you for al the bad stuff that's going to happen. To sum it up in one  sentence it would be: "How much can the MC be tortured with no positive pay of in a world with no good people". This is a very dark tradgedy story with no positive pay of and all the side characters are just way to bad. All the characters range from pure evil to lawful neutral.

    Spoiler

I'm especialy disapointed in Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. He's a fricking superhero and a family man, he just sees a girl that's clearly been abused every way posible, and he just goes "Ha, sucks to be you." Instead of doing a single thing about it. Another thing that annoyed me was how she could build a dog damn Stark reaktor and nobody cared. She would ble flooded by opportunitists and at least gotten a job at Stark Industries if they knew.

    [collapse]
All the suffering just seems unrealistically bad.

I genuinly think that the author can write a very good story if they want, but this is just a pure tradgedy and nothing else.

So far, I've caught up to it, and what I can about it is it's a trainwreck. A beautiful, and horrifying and utterly tragic trainwreck. You can't stop it, but you can't help but keep staring as each train cart keeps crashing more and more into each other, your eyes open and just taking in all the tradegy. Sure there are some compartments that survive, but the following train car just take it out as splash damage, and the wrecking resumes.

You'll get hooked into her story, just wondering "how the hell did all of this happen to her?" and you'll just carry on reading. If you're interested in reading some seriously dark stuff, then this is some gourmet sh*t. Just give it a try.

    Spoiler

Imagine our dark world, every bad thing is a everyday thing common occurence. Now imagine the MCU and all the blatant paranoia and trying to control literally anything with a smigem of power. And now look at every tag and genre that might depict a dark scene that cuts often and usually deep. Congrats that's this novel. If you don't like the bad parts of the psychological genre, avoid this. Cause god the MC gets tortured by the world at almost every step with no time to recover.

Beyond that, chapters are long and it's a fairly alright read. But yeah, what I said in the spoiler killed it for me. And I genuinely can't continue reading. 4 stars. Decent read

Generally, I've liked the story.  I still feel I need to drop it though.

I liked that it was a story about Cindy Moon.  I've read various fan-fics about Spider-Man / Peter Parker.  I thought reading about Cindy would be great.  And it was, for a bit.  I wanted to know more about the character and what her life was like.  The fact that it was a reincarnation story just made things all the better.

Cindy's story is a story of struggle.  Unfortunately, it's also a story of physical and emotional abuse.  This story really needs a DARK tag in it because of how bad things get.  It seems every time her life seems to be about to turn around, something else happens to keep her down and makes her feel worthless.

As of Chapter 9, she has no real support or safe haven from the outside world and it's a wonder she just doesn't lay down and die.  Then again, because of the constant physical and emotional abuse, poor Cindy just doesn't know any other kind of life.

I still think there is hope for this story, depending on where the author takes things next.  Unfortunately, that will be without me reading any more.  With all the bad things that have been happening, even before she becomes a superhero on a regular basis, I can only imagine what will happen to her next.

I'm rating this 4 out of 5 stars because I think it's definitely a creative story, but I'm taking it off my reading list because it's just too dark for me.

I’ve looked at some of the reviews and I can see there view point as well but I really like the story it has it has good quality in writing and grammar little mistakes but not bad enough where you focus on it and I love the MC a lot her story relates to my real life in lots of ways everything goes down and down and then you see a light and start rising until it breaks and your fall again. She still stays together no matter how broken she became but what takes it further is she still makes decisions that help others around her even if sometimes it doesn’t come back my only complaint is it takes too LONG TO UPDATE haha
