Synopsis

Have you ever dreamt of going on a journey?
Have you ever woke up, felt the calling of the unknown, decided to give up everything and leave?
Exploring the world and the deep seas?
Fighting against dragons and pirates?
Become the hero you only see in books or hear rumours of in the Capital?

I dreamt of adventures, journeys, and battles.
I dreamt, I woke up one morning, ate breakfast, and thought to myself, “Nope! That kind of life isn’t for me! It was a good dream, but I’m not made to be a hero or an adventurer. I don’t even how to ride a horse. I can hunt, however with my shape, I’m pretty sure I’ll be the prey rather than the hunter. Yep! Better stay at home. At least, I will have fewer opportunities to die in horrid sufferings.”

This is what I thought. Well, I still think the same, however, it seems that sometimes, the adventures find you. Adventure hit me in the face, freeloads at my place and tries to make me insane.

I couldn't find any problems as far as grammar went. Some of the sentences are weird, but this is due to style of the author. This a diary novel, and the one who is writing the diary is not the best writer, thus the occasional weird sentence structure. However, even though the author took this stylistic choice, this didn't stop him from being clear and unambiguious. The MC is likeable, and through his writing, we can get a sense of his relationship with the other characters. He is also very funny. If you want a nice refreshing read with a bit of comedy, give this novel a try. Also, I wish to whoever rated this story 1 star the best. I hope that one day, you will overcome the hatred in your heart.
