Pokémon. A world of childhood dreams and fantasy. A world where kids get to bond with unique animals, go on fantastical journeys, explore the unexplored, and test the strength of their bonds in the heat of battle! But in the end, that is all it is: Fantasy. ...Or, at least, that was how it was supposed to be.

Waking up in a Pokémon world would be any 10-year-olds dream! ...Not so much for an 18-year-old. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Pokémon games and even played the new ones occasionally, but it was not my entire life like it had been when I was a kid. I grew up and moved on to other things; Like hot girls, music, and other games. Even so, Pokémon would always hold a special place in my heart.

So, imagine my surprise when I suddenly woke up to find myself living in a real Pokémon world! One day I was an 18-year-old college kid, and the next I was a baby living in what was supposed to be a fantasy. To top it all off, I retained all my past memories...well, sort of... The only problem was that this world was only vaguely like the one I knew from the games, manga, or anime. To my complete astonishment, I found that it was much more...realistic. It was like someone took all of the Pokémon media and lore and smashed it together with reality until it created something that kinda made sense.

This is the story of how I, Finn Cambridge, once Max Fraiser, was born into an unsettlingly realistic Pokemon world as the son of Jessie and James from Team Rocket. This is the story of how I became a Pokémon Master.
