The story will follow Silika, the young daughter of an aristocratic count who becomes handicapped and must adapt to a world not designed for people in her situation. She will have to struggle through her disability, religion, family, abuse, trauma and politics. The world will not be kind to her, but she will find her place.
The tone is a bit darker at times in this story, but not in 'edgy' or 'grimdark' ways. They reflect the main character's struggles. There will be happy times, funny times, but also sad times and painful time. The main character will grow and learn in what I hope will be a very interesting experience for you all to read!

Absolute masterpiece of a story so far!
I personally adore these cute stories where the MC lives through the hardships they face.
It's very hard to find these kind of beautifully written stories where the MC has a disability, (deafness, blindness or otherwise physically disabled) and it not just being glossed over with some kind of cheat ability or miraculous cure to write the story on 'easy mode' so to say.
Being able to write the struggles people have to go through to adapt living with their disability and make it into a story like this is just amazingly beautiful.
Only thing I could hope for is for more chapters!!

A beautiful story, full of hardships but also beautiful moments that will make your hearth soar, cry tears of joy and weep in sadness through its rollercoaster of emotions.
The characters are all believable, have their own sets of goals and reasons for being who they are and acting like they do.
Truly, you can feel the author's love for their story, with its well crafted world and characters through all the writing.
