After the Voidfather’s death, the world is in shambles, the strongest beings all dead as Fragments and Husks, creatures let out from tears in reality, roam the land with impunity. Traveling beyond a city’s walls is always a perilous prospect, and
I really hate three things in my reading. The first are the heroes who do things because it is the right thing to do. The second, the detective novels and the third, the school life novels. Yes, when I started reading I didn't see the school life tag.
But to my surprise I loved this reading, especially the protagonist, her character is unique and refreshing that makes her truly unique.
I loved Sinclair, so when Charlotte woke up her conscience it gave me a good scare.
Honestly there are some inconsistencies and things that are difficult to understand in the story.
Like after Babel experiments on her, she just joins the organization instead of trying to escape to freedom (Even though she was later captured again)
But overall it is a very good read to pass the time and I sincerely recommend it.

This is an interesting read! The protagonist is a survivor! I can't imagine what it will be like to go through what she did, and keep it cool. And she does keep it cool, that much is for certain, although one can argue that it might be because she doesn't know any better.
I don't want to spoil anything, but this story is steeped in Myths and is leaning to be an urban fantasy. With Gods and Monsters, and special powers which come at a price. Which is a breath of fresh air after all the stories where the special powers are a blessing, to be taken with no questions asked. There is a balance between gain and price, which sets up the MC up for quite the challenge.
The characters all have their quirks. You can tell that the Director, Isaac, is very passionate about what he does, but also has something cooking in the background. Is Athen good, or is she hiding something? She certainly is unforthcoming when Charlotte asks her about her Gem. And that makes the characters real and alive.
Once an Author makes you care about the details surrounding the characters, then the story is bingeworthy.
And Rhaps has plenty of chapters. So, what are you waiting for? Binge away!

This story is pretty amazing on how random it can be but still have a coherent storyline. Personally, I enjoys reading it just for how unhinged Charlotte is! The girl is what you would do to the annoying characters in a novel or film.
There is no edging for the climax, no waiting for the revenge. She take the quote "Revenge best serve cold" and threw it out of the window! You cross her and she would retaliate in an instant!
In term of MC, Charlotte is a gem to behold. 10/10 for me.

One of the more interesting reads that I've had. Story itself is nothing that amazing but the characters are a different story. Author has a very refreshing way of portraying how characters act in the story and sometimes the dialogue can give you a great chuckle later in the story.

I LOVE CHARLOTTE SILVI SO f**kING MUCH!!!
Ok this only allows a 5 star rating but I would rate with ∞. The characters and building exquisite, it's rare to find someone like Charlotte and Seria. This is obviously a lazy review but I wanted to share! Hope it continues~
