Fortunately, he taught history class and has proper certification for it. It has nothing to do with fighting and magic which needed practical credibility. ->it haD, a common mistake among authors, mixing present with past. As they said, he was the hero's brother. (they said, so you don't need to repeat this, we know who he is now, so if you start by "his older brother, " we'd still understand.) His older brother, Ludric Cazmere, was announced as the hero once he reached adulthood at 17. At that time, he ('the younger one' instead of 'he', you can emphasize here, but optional)  was 14 years old.

Their heritage was often what determined their path in life and what they were destined to be.  Overall: Typos here and there, misuse of punctuation. Mix of past and present verbs in the same sentence outside dialogue. The author could focus on reducing passive voice. It lacked some descriptions of where characters are chatting/acting. Plot wise, its interesting, and I did find some scenes funny, so comedy green check.
