My opinion? Here is an idiom for it... “A Popcorn Flick”. In other words, this story can be entertaining to read, but is generally not of a very high quality or rich in emotional or intellectual depth. It feels like a xuanhuan. For those of you who don’t know what that means, this is a story that pushes the boundaries of speculative fiction by being a melting pot of the Authors’ wildest fantasies. Anything an Author can imagine is possible in xuanhuan stories.

There is nothing wrong with this style of fiction. In fact, I believe the Author does very well within this particular subset of writing. At least for this story, as I’ve yet to read any of their other works... Anyways, while this story mostly succeeds in it’s fantastical elements, it falls flat in other areas.

The characters tend to feel like cardboard cutouts, and without any will of their own. The main character has a tendency towards making irrational decisions, and/or seems to place special attention on things that don’t feel like they should really matter, or they simply don’t make sense. Descriptions of any physical actions are bland, or simply reduced to 1+1= whatever I want. There isn’t much of an internal dialogue or voice that provides direction... or if there is one, it feels like an insert of the Author’s personal opinion, and tends to fall into the “I’m going to do this because of this” category. After that follows a sentence or two where we are told that this is what happens. After some thought, there is no description of them acting it out, we are simply told that it’s been done, or that it has failed to be done, and only after, perhaps why... So, the situation feels bland, and isn’t conveyed that well. It could use some work.

Perhaps it’s a issue with perspective? The story has a tendency to shift it’s perspective from 1st to 3rd person rather chaotically. Sometimes, there’s a shift in character perspective from one paragraph to another. Like, actual perspectives, between two different characters... It can be rather confusing, and may be why we tend to get rather bland descriptions for things, as it’s sometimes uncertain from which perspective the story is being told.

The grammar also needs work, as every chapter I’ve read so far could use some help with how it sounds in English. I’ve no idea if the Author has English as a second language? Though the writing is legible, it’s not always clear or concise. It reads like a decent translation, but still doesn’t sound quite right. Not saying it’s been translated, but that it almost reads as if it had been. Not great.

The story exists as Good Guy power fantasy, and there is nothing wrong with that; but, after a certain point, the story Only exists, because the Author/Main Character hasn’t waived their magic wand to, make all of their “problems” disappear. Sure, it keeps the fantasy alive, but at some point, it feels like you’re beating a dead horse. It’s pointless.

At this moment, I feel like reading any more won’t enhance the overall story. It could instead become rancid, and start to smell. Right now, it’s possible for me to ignore the smell, but any more, and it could become overwhelming. This actually works the other way too, because if it didn’t have any bad elements, it probably wouldn’t start to smell bad later. Though... all this is just my smelly opinion.

In the end? It’s a bit of a mess. This isn’t a bad story, as some of its’ elements are made rather well, but... it falls short of being great. Perhaps, after some English/Grammatical clean up, a little character tweaking, work on it’s execution, and then some more work on the story’s flow, descriptions and actions? It’s possible I would have given it a better score... As it is? Not bad, but not amazing either. It has some good ideas? Though, it could still use some work on its’ execution.

Eh... It’s a Popcorn Flick. Read it if you just want to turn your brain off, and eat some munchies while having access to some mindless entertainment.

... At least it doesn’t have a harem? Those tend to be overly complicated, or oversimplified, and I’m unsure if that mess would have mixed well with this free form imagining.

      Till we meet again! -Ditz

First to take of my chest " write faster, not enough chapters!!!!"

Now to real review, good story, plot it not fast and not slow, some timeskip is long but it make sense that time pass when we are not looking, the author know his original plots, that make more good since its not just the movies parts, the system need more work in it, not that is bad, it just irrelevent after some time, and would be nice some side-stories  like he going visit the kages, or walking in NY and seeing a marvel hero like luke cage before he is a hero, or even helping they became better. Or bringing other characters in the world, whit no need to save the world or that the plot need it, but overall it a good read.

Currently on chapter 394. This story's quality can be separated into 2 parts. The first 2/3 of the story and the last 1/3 of the story.

The first 2/3 was decent. There are slight grammatical errors. For example, " The company of John" should be " John's company". Otherwise, the story reads easily. Due to the large number of side characters and sub-main characters that one can expect from a story named " Multiverse of Marvel", many characters do not get the development that they need.

However, I believe that " John's Life" or " John Jameson's Multiverse" would be better names for this story. It does not follow Marvel's universe, the story follows John Jameson, liar extraordinaire. Throughout the story, it is John that gets major character development. The last 1/3 of the story is when things get good, grammar gets better characters are more developed and react less like robots.

John's choice not to use his summons like puppets is what made this story interesting, though it would still be rather interesting, in a different way. If John used his summons like puppets this story would be far shorter.

This is all around a rather interesting story and I am looking forward to more.

Im not really a fan of fanfics but damn this got me hooked, I was reading it at 10pm but when looked at the time it was 3am (lol). At chapter 510.

      Spoiler

At first I got cringed of what his 1st summon was cause thats too OP, he could just use them  and then the end but no, there is more to it and I like it. Why does Falcon not in the Avengers? Please upgrade Hawkeye, Black Widow got one, Poor Clint. Got some issues why T'chala is not in the avengers.

      [collapse]

ALSO I dont know much about MCU and DC aside some movies so its great to know such characters exist.

Hope to read/see:I hope joker got summoned by accident or some sort of challenge by the system or losing control on his summon or all of the above. I WANT TO SEE HOW THIS CURRENT AVENGER WILL DEAL WITH ENEMIES THAT IS NOT OF MCU. JUST AIZEN ALONE GIVE ME THE CHILLS. I hope he can also Fuse the people of his universe to their other versions, (Omni man lol)

Thank For the Good Work Author-sensei.
