Trapped in his friend’s sci-fi novel, the protagonist possesses the character Ray Laxon, a character whose family is destined to be executed. Now, he must navigate a dangerous world filled with dungeons, monsters, magic, and demons, all the
I didnt really focus much on the story and just skimmed through it. So why do I care to leave a review? Its because its the type of MC I hate the most. The common failed "badass bitch" type of MC, who instead of cool or badass, is just a complete bitch. "Its just pisses me off" "as if they understand my pain" "pissed" "pissed off" "pissed off" (again) always pissed off. Normal people go about their day to day. Mc? She a badass bitch so shes always pissed off at them too. Kind people? MC gets pissed off because of complete bullsh*t and is always a victim who stands up and instead of taking it sitting down she decides to!!!!! BECOME A KAREN tBKfSVkFUnVeRjv!!!!!

I'm enjoying this! The writing quality is good, and the plot is fun. The story falls into the "min/maxing protagonist" camp where a reincarnated person tries to exploit 'the system'. It features a very overpowered protagonist (who nevertheless still faces challenges... and her ultimate goal is to actually defeat a god, so there's that). The story is light-hearted enough in its tone that a somewhat 'cracky'/op sort of theme fits. At the same time though, it does seem to have an overarching plot and planned surprises in store, etc - it doesn't seem to be one of those meandering stories without any direction.
As long as someone doesn't expect a story that takes itself overly seriously and wants more of a fun min-max sort of story, I think anyone would enjoy this.
(And regarding the other review complaining about the main character being depressed/angsty/etc at the beginning - the main character was highly depressed and suicidal in her previous life, with low self-esteem, but the story rapidly moves past that. Low self-esteem and issues trusting others does crop up again at times as the story continues, but she is slowly moving past that as well.)
