The Last Queen of the Labyrinthians
A woman obsessed with the longevity of her race, even if it means she is the only one left standing. A powerful being currently inhabiting Teyva Akura's body as a 'tag-along'. One of many individuals who have come to antagonize Teyva Akura over the course of the story.
Our Protagonist:
Once known as Ianna Kovac, she died of a tragic heart attack in her hometown of Chicago. A long-time gamer and corporate drone, she has never lived a life for herself. A bit naive and prone to mistakes and oversights, she has slowly begun to grow into a person of consequence in the new world around her. Constant suffering, mutations, and trauma continues to mold and harden her. What she will become in the end is anyone's guess.
An honorable woman and servant of the Azar people. She is Teyva's first and closest friend in the world of Orum and over time takes on a protective and sisterly role in Teyva's new life. Skilled with a sword and wind magic, Azrael shows little remorse in fighting so long as it is for the right reasons.
Tiny, carnivorous, and bloodthirsty. The infant mimics often take the form of small objects, preferring the simple form of gold coins when at rest.
An Adelsphinx summoned by Teyva's powers. The lazy, haughty, and often sarcastic creature believes it is his solemn duty to serve as his Mother's vizier and is prone to loud proclamations concerning her destiny in the world. He possesses an enormous amount of unusual knowledge.
An orcish bowman and guardsman of the Orcish Settlement in the Balthin Forest. Later he forms a deep attachment to Azrael Unabi.
A Katali Human Justicar and agent of Count Betrand Otel. A man of decency and honor who enforces the law without reservation or mercy.
A Katali Human Count who is obsessed with the preservation of the Katal-Balthin border and the integrity of his kingdom. He loathes the Azar out of fear and is privy to knowledge reserved for only a small handful of people in his homeland.
Serious when he has to be and a lover of pranks and galavanting, the King of the Azar (known to some as the Demon King) is a man of peace who wants nothing more than to see his people thrive in the Wildlands.
One of the Four and leader of the Northern Azar. She has a deep relationship with King Thrake and some believe the two of them are lovers. Of all the Four she has known King Thrake the longest. Tiisha is the head of a craftsmans guild and is a savvy businesswoman.
One of the Four and Leader of the Southern Azar. Barin Kot is the head of the Magi in the service of the King of the Azar. He orchestrated the ritual that interfered with Teyva's summoning to Orum. Blessed (and cursed) with the Aspect of Truth, he is incapable of lying and finds that fact to be immensely distressing.
One of the Four and Leader of the Eastern Azar. A hard woman who rose to lead the Wardens. A mother figure and hero to Azrael. Yaga Yftha is very protective of her 'daughter' and will stop at nothing to ensure her safety even if it means interfering with her happiness.
An unholy creature born of the remnants of the Bound One, obsessed with Teyva and her ability to grant others the power to grow.
The condensed essence of an aspect of reality. Consuming an Aspect Stone grants one abilities related to that aspect. Also known as 'God Eggs' as Aspect Stones are known to eventually 'hatch' into entities called Aspect Beings.
An ancient tomb located in the Balthin Green Sea and the resting place of the last Labyrinthian Queen, Teyva Rani.
An enormous forest centered between the eastern and western portions of the known world, so large it is often referred to as a 'sea' and can take over a month to cross at certain points. Legend has it that the Green Sea refutes all who dare attempt to settle within its borders.
The World the story takes place in.
An entity that embodies a certain aspect of the world of Orum. Often mistaken for gods and worshipped by the common races. Aspect beings vary in size, shape, power, and even intelligence.
A fragment of reality that can fall under an infinite number of categories. Aspects represent the building blocks of the world of Orum.
A rare and powerful aspect giving the user power over the chilling pale light of death.
An unusal aspect that gives the wielder powers akin to a Mimic as well as the ability to create and summon such creatures.
A mythical aspect which grants the user the abilities and qualities of an apex member of the Labyrinthian race. Under certain conditions it can cause an individual to advance to a different form of the Labyrinthian race.
A mysterious aspect stone with unknown powers. It is a thing of evil.
A powerful Aspect that grants the user the qualities of an ancient Titan.
What I like most about this novel is that I never quite manage to predict what will happen. There are clues as to what the future might hold, the most obvious being quests as part of the LitRPG system. Despite that, things deviate from the expected in believable ways--be that from subverting or altering tropes as depicted in other webnovels, or just the world being organic enough that it doesn't feel scripted when things go off rails.
I emphasize this because these subversions of my expectations don't feel like a total ass pull like in so many other webnovels; instead, I enjoy the story not despite but (also) because of them.
The prose of this story is neither purple nor prosaic, I find, but strikes a middleground I think most would appreciate.
As for the grammar side of things, there is little to complain about. The biggest issue I can think about is that sometimes dialogue is written like '"..., " She said' instead of '"..., " she said;' so unless you can't stomach the occasional ensuing inconsistency with this capitalization and the like, you should have little issues reading this novel.
All in all, this story deserves to be read by more people than it is as of the time of writing this review.

Very good novel, I can’t wait for the next volume, this is definitely heavy based on character growth, at first the MC annoyed me but now she is one of my all time favorite characters. I also have no complaints about the story.

Magnificent storytelling with many twists and plot points alongside an amazingly crafted world filled with personable and interesting characters.
The main protagonist is a little spacy but she catches on and she's very charming and charismatic especially after she comes into her own. Good sense of humor and very good pacing as I never felt any part dragged on or rushed too much.
This is genuinely one of the best stories I've ever read on the internet.
