A young and tempestuous Storm filled with thunder and resignation tears into two distinctly conscious selves. One wakes to a world of dreams and is given an opportunity to change her stars. Another washes ashore and struggles to come to terms with being discarded by their other half.

As once ruinous powers, the two will find their monstrous strengths and villainous inclinations put them at odds with their goals as they attempt to navigate the world around them. Both must struggle to grow, heal, and find acceptance in a world they have played a role in destroying. All while having to fend off entities that threaten everything they hold dear.

When it comes to facing the abyss of not knowing one's self, they may have only each other.

CHARACTERS

The primary point of view characters explore transfeminine and monstrous identities.
One gets an instant Magical M > F transformation with a Goddess's assistance.
The other presents as nonbinary while they figure out their identity from scratch.

Most other characters are cis gender monster folk of varying complexities.
Early examples include

SETTING

The fantasy world is meant to be monster and gender affirming. Anything in the world can be picked up and if it suits you, become a part of your identity.

Whatever serves as one's physical heart can be swapped into different bodies.

A Goddess pulls an unconscious protagonist into a world of dreams. Eyes serve as colorful representations of their owner's soul, which makes up the immaterial half of most characters that can be visited in shared dreams.

Magic revolves around filling physical objects that mean something to you with your values. Activities that reaffirm those values are required to rest and recharge.

Much of the story revolves around a roaming Orbital Hall regarded as a place of learning that picks up and drops off students in addition to lending expertise to solve problems.

Once the cast has settled into their new lives, there will be regular competitive contests of magical artistic expression revolving around crafted or conjured familiars.

This is meant to be a story that centers the stories of Outcasts, Monsters, and Villains. The world has a troubled history with the concepts of Heroes, Nobility, and Fate.
