Frost is a healer and must use her wits, modern knowledge of medicine and challenge her moral compass in order to survive this world of Eldritch entities born from emotions, folklore, fairy tales, concepts and despair.
She was no more than an ordinary man who fell into an unordinary circumstance. Suddenly appearing in a place called the Nexus in a different world from Earth had left him... er... HER curious about what this newfound world is all about.
A world of swords, kingdoms and dungeons? Yep.
Of races that were thought to be found only in fiction? Oh yeah.
Of technologies that far surpass anything seen on Earth? Huh? isn't that a bit much? At least they're limited.
And of magic that blatantly violates the laws of physics!? Yeah... physics don't apply here.
But her curiosity ended up costing her before she had learned much of the world of Elysia, and she was betrayed by a person she was led to believe she could trust the most.
Come join Frost as she tackles Eldritch entities in a strange world far from home. However, this world may be a lot more closer to home than she realizes.

< Judgement in Progress >
The ‘Blessing of the Nexus’, which she had come to call the ‘System’, displayed these words before her wilting eyes.
“Judge… ment... I… I came from… Earth… Transported here… turned into… a girl… and now… I’m being… Judged…?
< Decision of One Thousand Juries Pending >
< Awaiting Verdict >
“… If… my only… wrong… is living… then I’d rather… be wrong… to the very end!”
When the black forest fused with the darkness behind her eyelids –
– A message appeared.

The story telling is wonderful, battles are absolutely epic, no plot holes (as far as I'm aware of), you can feel the emotions in the words themselves, rarely any grammar or spelling mistakes and the story is very easy to understand yet still incredible.
Overall, very good writing. Tons of references too.
The author also reads every single comment. 5/5, definitely recommend.

This is the one that finally convinced me to make an account after lurking for years on this site so that I could write a review and give 5 stars.
This is a really intriguing tale. Can't give the author enough praise for their ability to hold my attention. But, for those of you who are squeamish, beware that there is disturbing content in here as well. That being said, it's very well written. I don't want to spoil anything, but the world building is heavily inspired by the works of Project Moon, i.e. Library of Ruina, which is an incredible story in itself.
Please read this. It's worth your time if you are not off-put by a bit of morbidity.

This is one of the best novels I've ever read. I almost want to not read it till it's finished so I can binge it all at once and not have to wait everyday for a new ch once I catch up xD

It might be early for me to rate it just after reading a single arc, but this one arc has cemented such confidence in me that I ought to write my review which is gonna be brief and that is- READ THIS if you have gone as far as to read the description and scrolled down to see reviews but still wondering if you should give it a shot. I mean if nothing else then just to experience this opening arc any reader ought to give themselves this treat, My next review will be when I catch up to the latest chap.

4.6 Stars (4.3 Stars, +.3 potential bonus [Very Curious on how the story is going to develop]) (Made at Chapter 108)
Nexus Awakened is a very good story with interesting and fun MC, who has to go through a lot. Side cast is alright, they do have distinct personalities and history (Some of which we only slightly know about) but besides Jury haven't been develop much in the story.
There is a lot Frost and the Audience doesn't know about the world, as we uncover more horrors hiding just beneath the surface. Frost has a very fun powerset, which is great especially with the fun fights. Besides the normal fights, there also ones against the corrupted, which really interesting as these creatures usually can't be dealt with purely brute force and become a game to figure the weakness before dying.
... yeah, that's all I got to say. Give it a try, and see if you enjoy it.
[UPDATE] (Update 311)
YOU WANT SOME EMOTIONAL ABUSE WELL YOU'VE COME TO RIGHT PLACE, COME ON ENJOY THE RIDE... energy is now out of the system. Yeah the story is still great and weird.

First ever serious review on any novels for me, sorry if I made some mistakes.
Honestly, it suprised me that THIS is a original novel and not a fan fiction.
The world building, 5/5. Genuinely good and detailed to the point that I would sometimes think this is a fan fic because of how expansive and deep it is. Heavily inspired by games like Lobotomy corp. (Good game go play it)
The characters, 5/5. The author gave alot of thought to them and made interesting backgrounds for each characters, main or not.
The writing, 5/5. Barely noticeable errors and the author fixes them fast when its spotted.
Overall, Perfect. Pretty sure this novel is one of those novels that made me get back to reading novels again after a long time. Keep up the good work.

Incredible story. Syringe has created such a wonderfully twisted world here. Also, a lot of stories have a whole "oh battles are stories" thing that's usually just supposed to sound cool. I'm convinced this is the only story where it's actually true. The battles are absolute masterworks.

Some of the best world building and character growth of any story I've read, this story is in my top ten I've ever read. If you're a fan of hurt/comfort than let me tell you this story has both in spades, and so far this story hasn't let me down with a satisfying resolution to every major conflict.
My one complaint is early on, the first few chapters are incredibly dense with lore and mechanic dumping, and no matter how well that's put to use afterwards it makes for some hard reading and I almost dropped the story because I was worried that it would be indicative of the rest of the story. Thankfully it wasn't, and around chapters 10-15 the story takes a turn for the better and never turns back. If you're interested in the story I recommend trying to reach that far before stopping. It really is worth the wait, I promise!
