The story is good and all, big fan SCP stories but the way how you execute the story feels like the MC doesn't have a clear goal. Yes he wants to survive but after having a least a bit of power what should he do know? It's too vague and lost but your composition of the paragraphs is good enough.
The MC has the ability to acquire abilities but he isn't training them, he acquired SCP-2006 but his not training it after just being able to use it once? Even he can't use it to its fullest potential at least vaguely tell why and not just "I can start growing some hair" why no partial beast transformation? Your stories' plot and grammar are good, but execution of the story not really. Like when the Base was attacked by chaos insurgents, their always felt like a an missing element at that time which seems to be present all the time.
But still good story but still missing some bits of pieces. Oh author I know that the mentality of the MC makes common sense of wanting to make friends and became a bit attached to the SCP agents, but he already knows the danger of the world or universe his in right now so he should be making choices that aren't too soft! Like when the moment the MC's agent friend was about to die he decided to save him, which doesn't make sense since their only acquaintances and not even friends as the enemy walks to his goal. Author you really need to work on your character interaction with one another.
Don't base your story that 'MC will always be kind!' no that's not true, anyone can read how insecure the MC is all the time in a crisis that it just doesn't make sense to to care for others before getting stronger! Like when the SCP where you mustn't blink, he almost died because of the two idiots then when he survived he felt pity for them? ****Ing hell author, tell me if you experienced a moment similar to that and because of your friends' actions where both of you thought what your friend did is stupid which almost got you killed, will you feel pity for your friend who died and almost dragged you as well for his stupid actions? Good luck author I mean REALLY good luck in writing the story.

Really enjoying the story so far I got a little sad when our protagonist's friend died because of the insurgency which makes me wonder why the hell he doesn't train the skills he has anymore he feels guilty but he doesn't try to improve to do better next time other than that, the story is wonderful
