Synopsis

WARNING: This book focuses on what some might call an insane protagonist, enough that drawing a line like the protagonist from School-Live would be somewhat reasonable. This was not written to target any person or condition.

Everything is gone, the few zombies that roam the streets are all thats left of society.
I leave this recording to you in hopes that someone will remember my story.

My name is Aures Rhys Glace, as you can probably see from this video, I'm just a normal college girl, we were out glamping for the holidays, running water, power. Till it was all cut off as the world started to fall apart.

Its been a while now, the streets aren't safe, but they aren't dangerous. There aren't many people left around here either and no one has the energy to help another. This shall be my diary, my letter to you watching this.

This is a love letter of sorts to survival and apocalypse genres. There are no super powers, no mutated super zombies. Just a pure world of pain, hunger and the nature of humanity.
There isn't going to be combat scenes, chapters might be short depending on how Aures day to day life is. This is a collection of her diaries, the result of her days of survival.
As mentioned, this deals with some forms of mental illness, this is not designed to offend people about any condition, nor is it focused on making it a glamourous thing. This book is about trauma and escapism, things many people can relate to, while adding a bit of a sci-fi spin to it, to help depersonalise a part of the story away from some who might relate.

I as both an author and reader got bored of the countless amount of combat themed, level up themed and system themed undead novels, nothing focusing on survival for its protagonist or any struggle beyond teleporting more gold out of the wasteland.
Aures isn't a smart protagonist, she hasn't got super powerful knowledge or special abilities. She just happened to avoid the worst part of it all before streets were purged with explosives and gunfire worldwide. So even though I understand things like using waterfalls to compress air or the composition of alloys and forging, she will not be using advanced, quirky survival knowledge.

Worldbuilding may come up during this. Yes it is a conscious choice to have the main characters initials 'ARG'.
